The year has begun with amazing prompts from the #ladiesofhive community and today we have the opportunity of explaining the one lesson or knowledge we learned that benefitted you as a lady?.
As a woman, learning is part of our everyday activities because we seem to partake in several professions given our experiences as mothers,teachers,wives,sisters, daughters and so on. As mothers,we have to be teachers to our children,doctors and nurses to the family,budget planner for the family,grocery shopper,housekeeper,tailor,beautician and so many more. What I am trying to say is that a woman is originally built to do more than one thing thing at a time.

As for me and as a lady,one valuable lesson I learned is the importance of financial independence. Yeah,I believe I grew a lot in the aspect of my finances last year and it has really helped me a lot. I was able to explore several professions both online and offline that made me exhibit the skills and talents embedded in me which in turn earned me some cash to take care of my financial needs. I didn't need to be dependent on anyone before I could afford some basic needs that would be beneficial for me. Because in this contemporary world,it is believed that women are reliant on men for money and sex,but that is not the truth. By engaging in stuffs that keeps me financially buoyant I have come to realize that financial independence serves as a foundation for a more empowered and fulfilling life. I have heard the opportunity to make decisions that are beneficial to me relating to finances,made lifestyle choices that are suitable for me.
In terms of been financially free,it also taught me the lesson that Being financially self-sufficient provides security and freedom. We have heard stories of how women who are dependent on people for money never really get to live their lives as much as they wanted,they are restricted but I have come to realize that financial self-sufficiency allows you to lead a secure and liberated life, providing the means to navigate uncertainties and make choices aligned with personal goals and values. I can do whatever I like and whenever I please with no one putting a limit to it.
Just like the hive Blockchain is doing,it gives you opportunity to earn in your own unique way by blogging, investing and pouring out your talent solely dependent on you and your choices. Thus, when you experience Financial independence,it means you can make decisions without being solely influenced by others, which in turn gives you autonomy in various aspects of life, such as where to live, what to invest in, or when to retire. Thus making career choices of your own.
This is borne out of the experience when I was faced with a crisis, all I just needed to do was take out money from my savings by exchanging so hbd to naira,I was so confident in myself because I didn't have to beg any one at that time. This really benefited and saved me from unforseen embarrassment. Hence,as a lady make sure to be financially buoyant,so the case won't be like that those they abandon at restaurants these days and can't afford to pay their bills
