Hello hivers, happy Sunday and happy new week. Just got back from church service where we had the christ the king procession and just as I login to give, the #ladiesofhive community contest hit me right in the face. The moderators always have a way of giving topics that would make you reflect and think hard to let your emotions and thoughts out on a particular topic. Hence, the question is about choosing the ability to see the past or the ability to see the future.

Hmmmm... This question is a tough one but not withstanding, for me the past is a dead end never to be explored again. Whatever I buried in the past is buried forever, no digging up again. For the second part of the question, it's in two ways, while I would love to explore a future of the unknown and full of surprises, I would also like to how things will go, what has changed, the economy, the government, international relationship, education, relationship, love, and so many more.

In view of this, I have a long list of reasons why I would want to check out what the future holds for me personally, my family and the world in general. But let's be clear that even if we saw the future and everything in it, nothing can be done in the present to change the outcome, for instance if you see abject poverty in your future just accept your fate that that is what is coming for you. So fo hypothesis sake, here rare my reasons:

First off, I would want to see the future of my family, what we have achieved so far and what we have become, to see if my goals and aspirations are in check concerning my 'future' husband, the number of my kids, handsome or not, brilliant or otherwise. I would also want to see if my extended families are doing well and we are living a communal life void of disunity and hatred. This is definitely my first because family comes first in everything. Hopefully it goes well rather than awkward.

Secondly, I would want to see the future of my country Nigeria, I am anxious to know if we got better economically or extremely worse because ever since I was born things has been on the high side, everything has been wrong especially government wise. We always hope that the future will be brighter than this bleak present we have now. So I would want to know if we got a humanitarian leader that puts the interest of the mass3at heart and pushes for the nation to get better and better. Also, that the naira notes are no longer undervalued and inflation is reduced.

I would also. Love to see in the future if my country has advance in their own technological advancement. If we produces our own luxury cars, if we made our own mobile phones that are durable and acceptable, if we refined our own oil and not be dependent on other countries, if we have developed means of transportation void of bad roads and long traffic. If we have explored other planets.

How about our deteriorating Healthcare system, in the future will they get better, will medical and surgical equipments be readily available to carry out important and difficult surgeries. Will there be medicinal cure rather than surgery operation to solve infertilities, fibroid, cysts, pcos, tumors, and so on. I am particularly sure I want to see the future of our hospitals, if our local communities can boast of a working hospital where everyone is catered for.

I would also want to know the future of the hive blockchain and the INLEO community, would be platform in subsequent times make me a millionaire or a billionaire, will the platform still be active just as Khal promised that he foresees a bright future for Leo in 30 years to come. Will I still be active on hive or not?.

Now back to really, what if there was no future at all? What if my country reduces to abject poverty rather than upgrading and making life better. Seeing the future can either make or break you. But in all these are my reason hypothetically for seeing the future.

Thank you @tibaire for these wonderful questions, check for details on the contest here. Thanks for stopping by my blog...
