To me Christmas holiday is never lonely, especially if the celebration is in the air you must feel the love. But for the purpose of the #ladiesofhive community weekly contest, I would accept an all expenses paid trip to another beautiful country because it has been one of my many desires, one I intend to tick out of my bucket list. Hence, if visiting a beautiful country would mean that I get to spend the holiday alone then so be it because I would rather see it as santa-claus granting my wishes for the holiday. I also have my reasons.
Would you accept an all-expenses paid trip to another country but it means spending the holiday alone? Why or why not?
I Mean who would not accept an offer where everything is been paid for, the trip, the flight, the hotel room, tour, visa and all. It's an opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and explore the beauty of nature in another land. I can imagine or fantasize a paid trip to Dubai, Paris, Rome, Maldives, London, Tokyo, Santorini, Barcelona and so on, I will gladly accept the offer. These places will make my holiday so worthwhile, peaceful and fun as it's a tourist place hence, numerous adventures and experience are available.
Take the beautiful city of Dubai for example, the luxurious lifestyle, the beauty of the city especially at night, the big malls for shopping and so on. Even as a youth, we are required to explore other countries so that we can broaden our know2and experiences rather than limiting them to a particular space, belief and culture.
Sometimes traveling alone with no family or friends is necessary, it allows you meditate, the essence of visiting another country is not just to eat, sleep, have fun all the time but a space to reflect on yourself, your ideas and means to I. Plemnt them because there will be no form of disturbance, privacy is guaranteed as it builds for self discovery.
From my experience, getting an all expense paid trip to another country from my country Nigeria, is a means and opportunity to improve my mental health. We tend to go through a whole lot in this country both physically, emotionally and mentally that it is required that we take a break sometimes. The always rising issues faced by the common people is enough to break a human but we prove to be resilient in the face of adversity. Thus, to escape this torture for a while is one of the reasons I will accept to travel alone, I don't care.
In the course of the festive periods and holidays, I would see the gift of traveling to another country as a wish come true to explore the beautiful creation of nature and also use the period to my advantage, like getting to meet people, visit historical sites, trying out new dishes, experiencing a different kind of weather like snow, summer and so on.it would most definitely be a dream come true.
