Hello my fellow ladies of the hive community and happy first Sunday of the year 2024...it's been awesome and hopefully it gets better by the day. From the look of things, prompts pouring in has to do with our experiences in 2023,this goes to show that the year was indeed a year of different experiences that gave our lives shape and meaning. In this week's prompt of the #ladiesofhive community, we are to appreciate and show gratitude to that one person or a special moment we had last year and also to give credit to the community.
First off, I will like to appreciate and show my gratitude to the ladies of hive community for their support in empowering women. Just like it is stated ,they are community that focuses on women's interests, joys, passions, and share stories of their journey in life. This is the only female community on hive that is solely dependent on lending a voice to the female folks on the hive Blockchain and the web3 space as a whole. In all ,the community allows blogs , articles and topics from all spheres of life on matter concerning the feminine species. Thus,we can have matters of motherhood,career woman, feminism, freedom of speech,right to live, free from domestic violence, hold public offices and so on. In general,the community has to do with women matters.
Also, one thing that caught me fascinated with the ladiesofhive community is the weekly contest. They have never failed or missed the contest,they are well organized and dutiful. The moderators carry out their jobs to the fullest and also promote engagements on the chain. I have never seen an occurrence where the weekly contest is not released on a Sunday,they never carry it over to the next day. Every week, they have a brilliant way of coming up with relatable ideas that brings out the experiences of people in their writing. It's like they dig deep into your heart so that your experiences can also be a teacher to others.
Again,I am grateful for the ladies of hive community for the way they have helped me grow in terms of engagements activities on the Blockchain. They have many means where they employ gamifications that make you earn while engaging. You can earn loh tokens by commenting, blogging and winning contests like shadow hunters and a few others. The incorporation of the ladies of hive tag in leothread is another milestone. It allows us to thread about our daily lives and activities and still use the tag.
Speaking about women empowering women,I would like to use this opportunity to be grateful for my mother,the one who birthed me and nurtured me. She was there during the bad times and helped me through it like the hero that she is. A strong woman I do not joke with, one I can do anything for and go any length for. she made 2023 worthy because without her,I wonder what would have happened during those moments. I LOVE YOU MA 💖
