I love gardening and it gives me more joy knowing that I'm among those producing food not just for myself but for humans.
Greetings to you all my follow gardeners. This year I went back to crop farming and now I'm growing pepper - habanero peppers.
So, I started by ordering for good and quality pepper seeds. It took some days for the seeds to arrive. I waited patiently until I got my seed. I then begin my nursery. I use the normal seed tray and also my locally constructed seed tray for nursery.
It took a week for my peppers to sprout. I bought two different pepper seeds. One is open pollinated and the other one is F1. The two are very nice hot pepper. I prefer planting hot pepper because during this raining season many people do prefer hot habanero pepper to other peppers.

This one is the F1 pepper. You can see they are doing good. I'm not hardening them because I want to transplant them to their permanent home.

While nursing I nurse in badges. I do this so that all won't grow at the same time. I will also transplant in badges- the first set then the second one.
I noticed something in the pepper. I noticed that hybrid pepper seeds are growing faster and doing better than the local one. I will make sure to keep track of the two to see how good they are when the time reach for them to produce fruits.

This one are the open polluted or will I say our normal local pepper. I'm very happy because they are also doing good. I nurse them a week after I nurse the F1 seeds. So I will be transplanting the F1 before the them. I have some videos of how the pepper are doing, maybe I will make another post where I will upload the video.
By next week or next two weeks I will be transplanting them. I want to have a lot of pepper plants that I can be able to eat and also give to other people.
I'm using this post as my July Garden Journal Challenge. You can also check out the post.
Thanks for browsing through my post. See you on my next Garden post. Happy Gardening ๐พ
