This is most likely a hot topic even if not generally acceptable. We as humans have come a very long way in the aspect of civilization and developments in human history that shouldn’t be seen as a normal or expected occurrence but rather special and very crucial part of our today’s life.

As we already know this technology that has bridged the gap between the ancient and modern world Every year technology becomes more advanced with time and in most cases it takes us by surprise.
So far we have smart homes, Artificial Intelligence, digital banking, facial recognition, online healthcare and many connected devices everywhere, from the look of it and how it sounds it is all supposed to make life easier but at the same time cybercrime, scams, identity theft and online fraud continue to grow so we wonder is this technology something that we should embrace, curb, tame, or totally put to an end?
My honest answer is, whatever has advantages would surely have a few disadvantages as well so one very important thing to consider would be the balance and how to take precautions or safety measures while using technology or living in a technology oriented world.

To me i do not see technology as something that has full control over itself and something that should be fully responsible for its actions because we HUMANS are the users and creators of technology so we always have something at the back of our mind while doing anything with technology, whether good or bad and that is exactly what matters. That’s what makes technology either good or bad, it’s that simple.

When the society becomes more connected, it somehow makes the people fully dependent on systems that they don’t fully understand which is a major point or part to look at. Imagine that Ai becomes a necessity or mandatory for everyone to accept and use for basic life needs like dressing up, cleaning cooking and etc… it would be so difficult for some of us to do things efficiently because it is a system we haven’t fully understood yet.
Some issues or situational technological risks can be very dangerous or even difficult to overcome, for example a beginner who doesn’t have knowledge to secure his digital assets or even a basic local bank account just because he’s been used to paychecks and stubs etc, if any wrong move is made sometimes it could result into a massive loss, setback or something else. In this era of online and crypto banking, one stolen password can create major problems and when someone’s account get hacked it can affect years of personal information, can also slow a person down.
Now what we should be more concerned about while adopting this technology seriously is digital security and looking out for others.

One major aspect id love to highlight is the issue of Ai, like how when people use ai tools to make deceptions and scams out of people which has definitely increased the rate of cybercrime but opposite of that, if one is smart enough to use ai for basic things like conversations we should be able to identify when something is fake or ai generated if only we take some little time to do findings by also asking an ai model to help identify.
Hopefully we will be able to curb the negativities of technology and finally the convenience will be worth the security risk.
