#marchinleo prompting childhood memories. What shall I do?
It was or it was not?
Small city, no pity
for the weak, the week was all
going so fast,
we know it wouldn't last.
All day outside,
fotball, running, pride,
sandwich on the side,
going home when the light
was off.
My town is there, my old building,
the bench in the park where I miss
the first kiss,
the barbecue on the fields, the garden,
the canal, the annual prize contest
in the school backyard,
the glass shard, the stadium,
everything is still there
But even if all is waiting for me
to come back, to be
the one that I was back then,
I can never go home.
The place may be the usual,
but the time is not the same,
cannot win this game
unless
I learn how to turn back the time.
I am still fine.
