Decentralization is a fundamental part of what we do here, it is one of the principles that distinguish us from how things work in the Web2, a small group of people, executives, CEO, among others, manage the data and benefits arbitrarily to favor their own interests and in contrast the WEB3 arranged, organized and managed by communities with clear rules, public, which distributes benefits to the most participatory owner members based on their commitment to the ecosystem.
More decentralization for Hive
On a related note, we are pleased to announce the latest updates to our Hispapro token, all in order to ensure decentralization and proper functioning of the node, hence Hive.
We have decided to move the token to a different service provider, not because the old provider was malfunctioning, but because we wanted to have better features and move our node to a separate service, as the old server hosts a good percentage of Hive token nodes, and a failure could affect many of them. It would certainly be a sign of weakness in our network.
The node is now hosted on a VPS in Germany, with the following characteristics:
- OS: Ubuntu 22.04
- Memory RAM: 24GB
- Memory SSD: 1.2 TB
- CPU: 8 Core
It is pertinent to mention that we are working to achieve once and for all the execution of a physical witness node, this would be the next logical step.
New advantages
We have many advantages with this new VPS, since having more RAM and hard disk space, we can host services in Hive that we already have running and new services that are in development.
The witness node has been installed and configured with version 1.27.6, using the docker provided by the witness @someguy123, in his GitHub repository and also the price feed from this other repository.

The Hispapro team is closely supporting the company Cripto Is Group(@criptois), an innovative, forward-thinking company committed to the integration of cryptocurrencies in everyday life.
Cripto Is Group is a company created purely with crypto assets coming from its own Bitcoin miners, it is certified by the Venezuelan national government to operate and exchange cryptos for fiat money. It is currently preparing to offer cross-border payment services and at the same time perform the first export of its branded products.
Our leader @yonnathang is currently in charge of the company's crypto and Web3 business. This, in particular, ensures a close relationship and alliance of Crypto Is Group with our ecosystem. A sign of trust and closeness is the certification of the company to receive payments in HBD, the use of the Hive logo on its flagship product, coffee, the offer to create a special edition franchise for our community, among others.
