A HiveBR e a SkateHive marcaram presença em peso na Blockchain Rio para prestigiar o stand da Hive e ajudar nossos amigos, e claro, não poderíamos deixar de nos perguntar: quantos novos usuários conseguimos trazer para a Hive durante o evento?
Com essa curiosidade em mente, decidimos utilizar o HiveSQL para monitorar o impacto do evento em termos de onboardings. Para quem não conhece, HiveSQL é um banco de dados disponível de forma pública que contém todos os dados da Hive, podendo assim, ser utilizado para os mais diversos fins por meio de consultas SQL.
Com o apoio dos membros @shiftrox e @vaipraonde, extraímos os dados e, junto com a colaboração de todos que estiveram no evento, conseguimos filtrar e identificar as contas criadas durante os dias do evento.
Resultados do Onboarding
O evento ocorreu entre os dias 24 e 25 de julho de 2024, e os dados do HiveSQL mostram um aumento considerável na criação de contas durante esse período:

2024-07-24: 136 novas contas

2024-07-25: 143 novas contas
Comparando com os dias anteriores e posteriores, esses números destacam claramente o impacto da nossa participação na Blockchain Rio.
Após filtrar as contas criadas nesse período, conseguimos identificar um total de 55 contas criadas por pessoas que estavam no evento realizando assim o onboarding delas.
Além disso, tivemos usuários que fizeram o download do Hive Keychain (@keychain), mas que provavelmente ainda não criaram suas contas, estamos sempre tentando entrar em contato e prover todo o apoio necessário para chamar a atenção deles e mostrar todos os benefícios que a Hive têm.
O Desafio Agora é Reter Esses Usuários
O resultado foi positivo, mas agora vem a parte mais desafiadora: reter esses novos usuários na plataforma.
Precisamos garantir que eles se sintam bem-vindos e engajados, ajudando-os a explorar o vasto ecossistema da Hive e descobrir como podem se beneficiar dele.
Estamos abertos a sugestões de toda a comunidade! Como podemos melhor apoiar esses novos membros e garantir que eles continuem ativos e contribuintes na Hive?

HiveBR and SkateHive were in full attendance at Blockchain Rio to honor Hive's Strand and help our friends, and of course, we couldn't help but wonder: how many new users did we manage to bring to Hive during the event?
With this curiosity in mind, we decided to use HiveSQL to monitor the impact of the event in terms of onboardings. For those who don't know, HiveSQL is a publicly available database that contains all of Hive's data, and can therefore be used for a variety of purposes through SQL queries.
With the support of members @shiftrox and @vaipraonde, we extracted the data and, together with the collaboration of everyone who was at the event, we were able to filter and identify the accounts created during the days of the event.
Onboarding Results
The event took place between July 24th and 25th, 2024, and HiveSQL data shows a considerable increase in account creation during this period:

Compared to the days before and after, these numbers clearly highlight the impact of our participation in Blockchain Rio.
After filtering the accounts created during this period, we were able to identify a total of 55 accounts created by people who were at the event and were onboarding them.
In addition, we had users who downloaded Hive Keychain (@keychain), but who probably haven't created their accounts yet. We are always trying to get in touch and provide all the support necessary to get their attention and show them all the benefits that Hive has to offer.
The Challenge Now Is Retaining These Users
The results have been positive, but now comes the most challenging part: retaining these new users on the platform.
We need to make sure they feel welcome and engaged, helping them explore the vast Hive ecosystem and discover how they can benefit from it.
We welcome suggestions from the entire community! How can we best support these new members and ensure they remain active and contributing to Hive?
