I have never been a fan of Ai because I feel it's a tool that replaces productivity, reasoning and imagination, that real organic human inputs in almost every field of endeavor is fading out......
I was scared that Ai will replace jobs, dull human brains, increase social media fanatics and the likes, ofcourse social media is a hub for these kind of things, now the Ai algorithm has been empowered to understand how you think. what you love viewing and has been engineered to keep you glued to your screen scrolling for hours without knowing how much time and data you've spent
as times goes on I began to see why Ai is very important especially in our era, looking at the complex nature of life, helping out in many ways, as a matter of fact Ai algorithm is now incorporated in almost everything that has to do with media, electronics, it's in all Apps, literally everywhere and so you can't deny the fact that this thing has come to stay and grow, now I need you to time travel with me, way back to 2000, now let's say 2026 is 2000, that will mean 26 years now, let's imagine how life was, then and now, then imagine how life will be in the next 26 years with the active trends of Ai.
the point is with the advent of Ai humans are beginning to loose that real human essence, that genuine human feeling, already people in the cities are now living in cubicles called compounds in estates, fenced round and every body is minding their business, neighbors rarely see face to face, up in the morning get set zoom to work and back.
I still miss the old days where during festive period my mom will cook rice and chicken, set a very nice piece of rice and chicken and asked me to go give it to one neighbor or another that was how like a ritual every festive periods we are given and recievjng gifts foods in fact I could wonder of to watch movie at a neighbors house and sleep off there without my parents getting worried, today life and the act of living is way complicated than it was those days, which would mean we need more of human connection but rather we are loosing out daily.
at times I wonder how husband and wife live in separate rooms in the same house who thought that idea and why is it so?, like every one at home has their rooms, with screens, gadgets that leave every one in thier solitude, no more family touch, hanging out, spending quality time and doing stuffs together
we're all glued to our phones instead.
I think humanity is gradually loosing it grip, whatever bonded us as one is slipping away bit by bit.
for instance with chatGpt and other advance Ai tools, the average human going through a severe tough time rather not talk to anyone, bottle it all up and slowly die of depression because humans can't be trusted, instead choose Ai as a confidant.
have you tried having a conversation with chatGpt?, at the end you'd feel a lot better at how they system is programmed to respond to your every emotional and psychological need, given real you incredible answers to whatever complex questions you have in your heart than any human would,
you find out human can't be trusted, you share your deepest pain or a secret you have been hoding with someone dear to you, only to realise that information is used against you somewhere.
people now feel more comfortable talking to a robot than talking to a fellow human, with time humans will totally lost connection.
recently the rate of divorce in our society is alarming, people are loosing it everyday, in time to come what will become of us, cause then Ai would literally be in our heads like micro chips.
would you blame Ai or humanity for this discrepancies?
