Hello @hiveghana greetings to everyone, this week's prompt is quit rich cause it resonates so much with my person, for this one a picture is worth a thousand words, it's really true because I would want to write a thousand words about this one picture of mine I really treasure so much and thanks to the Blue App always safe guarding it for me, cause since this image was taken its been upto five years or more can't really recall when it was taken but I'm really sure I have changed upto four devices since then.
so on this day I was on the drum just doing some rolling when my friend Eddie took the picture of me, and this explains everything the deep connection I have with the drum kit, passion, my love and essence for drumming .... here's what, the moment I saw this I'm like this so beautiful and I'd treasure that moment for a very long time as a matter of fact i intend to create an art painting, some big gigantic art display with this picture and hung it in my home.
the reason this particular image really caught my attention so much is that it truly depicts my heart and soul for the art of drumming, for me drumming is much more than seating behind the kit to create sounds, beats and patterns of rythm that make meaning, to me it's deeper than that it's creating a moment, creating an energy that moves or propels people to dancing. singing or worshipping, creating an atmosphere that energizes people.
this is not something I try to figure out, I guess it's something I was born with, like for instance one of my very old childhood friends one time we were together and she told me how we use to gather as kids to play and I will always gather containers and I was the drummer boy 😆 🤣 😂, this was really funny tho but I was wowed to hear that.
although I've had some struggles with getting hold of patterns and maintaining tempo and just flowing along with everyone else, this was really a struggle for me, been up with some top drummers and studying their moves and strokes, rythm and pattern and getting up pretty good like it's said learning never ends as far as you grab the basics you're good to go.
this image means a lot to me, like I said its reveals my heart and soul for the art of drumming, the passion and love for what I truly long for and I'll keep getting it over on all my device
