When it comes to all the books I've read so far, Atomic Habit feels different, first of all I would say it is the first book on psychology that I've read.

One of my major plans in life is to study psychology as a second degree, the reason been that, apart from what we can see, feel and touch as relating to physicality and our environment, the next important aspect to life is psychology.

reading this book draws me closer to that conviction and reveals more to me why I need to look in that direction.

In this post today I will be discussing one of the most outstanding lessons, i captured from a brief story the author, James clear shared in the beginning of the book.

the reason why this means so much to me is because it's something I can relate with.

James Clear never thought he would be a writer, but somehow after a major incident that almost cost him his life and a career as an athlete, he began a small tiny routine of getting back in, by following a set of routine, from there it became a habit, he felt better and that excitement got him to think of others struggling in the direction and how he can expand his experience to help them.

the results of those tiny routine that turned Habit made him excel excellently well both in academics and as an athlete.

James said out of curiosity in November of 2012, he created James clear.com, a website for publishing articles on mastering small routine, making them Habit and achieving remarkable results just as he had done.

that's how it all started, from publishing articles every Monday and Thursday about his personal routine, which he had developed into habits and how it all helped him achieve some of the remarkable and outstanding results

His website started attracting hundreds and thousands of subscribers, the numbers so grew from 30,000 subscribers in 2013, by 2018 it had over two million subscribers monthly

here's something I want you to take out.

I strongly believe this whole thing started just in a casual way, by putting his own intentional growth experience together to help others like him.

I'm pretty sure he wasn't aware what he was doing at the time but soon enough what started as just a random stuff got him a spot at some international conferences, speaking at key note event in Europe and America and other major events all around the globe..

In 2017 James launched "The Habit Academy" a company that focuses on training, coaching and mentoring people on the science of Habit transformation.

James's company became an epic center of major companies, businesses and sports academy for training their staffs.

why Passion is an important attribute of success

Not to sound like a motivational speaker, tho you need one, what stood out for me is that if for whatever reason things feels blank and somehow there's no clue where or how to start just think within yourself "What can I do naturally without stress.

What do i really love doing anytime of day?

Right there, follow your passion, with time as you grow in the art, value will start coming in because the truth is.

When you are so good at what you do, people will naturally be compelled to give in to you even without you realizing it.

I'm yet to talk about the numerous lessons I learned from the book but as a start this stood out strongly for me, following the path of your passion is the easiest way to succeed effortlessly.
