Greetings, dear friends of feathered friends. I’m back to participate in Feathered Friends - Photo Contest Round 274. I love the open-themed contest; I have several photos where I’ve spotted birds in parks and other places—one particularly curious one was at a soda fountain when I was in Spain.
Birds are everywhere in parks and rural areas; the photo on my profile is the one I’ve chosen for this contest. I saw this little bird in a park while I was out for a walk with my partner. I thought this little bird was so cute—it was walking and stopping, as if taking in the scenery. In that same spot, I was surprised when my partner suddenly said to me, “Look at the parakeets,” and I couldn’t see them—they’re the same color as the grass. It took me a while to spot them, but there they were, looking for food; they looked beautiful. They were very distracted, but I didn’t get too close so as not to scare them.
At a soda fountain we visited, the birds seemed very friendly, so they were everywhere and close to the people. They got into the habit of hopping onto the tables to peck at leftovers from the plates. I snapped a photo of this little pair that looked like they were whispering to each other, perhaps plotting to raid a plate of food.
This photo was the result of curiosity; I noticed something moving among the grass, and then I saw a couple of birds eating. I took the opportunity to photograph them while they were enjoying their meal; they seemed happy with what they had found.

Saludos estimados amigos de amigos emplumados. Aquí estoy de vuelta para participar en Amigos emplumados - Concurso de fotografía Ronda 274. Me encanta el tema gratuito, tengo varias fotografías en las que había observado a algunas aves en parques y otros lugares, uno muy curioso, en una fuente de soda cuando estuve en España. .
En los parques y zonas rurales los pájaros abundan, la foto de mi portada es la elegida para este concurso. Vi a esta ave en un parque mientras estaba de paseo con mi pareja. Me pareció muy bonito este pajarillo, caminaba y se detenía, como mirando el paisaje. En ese mismo lugar, me sorprendí cuando mi pareja de pronto me dijo, “mira a los periquitos”, y yo no los veía, es que son del mismo color de la hierba. Me costó verlos, pero ahí estaban, buscando alimentos, se veían hermosos. Estaban muy distraídos, pero no me acerqué mucho para no atemorizarlos.
En una fuente de soda que visitamos, los pájaros parecían ser muy sociables, así que se podían ver por todos lados y cerca de la gente. Se les hizo costumbre subirse a las mesas para picar las sobras de los platos. Capturé a esta parejita que parecían hablarse al oído, tal vez planeando asaltar algún platillo de comida.
Esta fotografía fue producto de la curiosidad, noté como que algo se movía entre la yerba, y entonces, vi a un par de aves comiendo. Aproveché de fotografiarlos mientras se deleitaban con su comida, parecían estar felices con lo que habían encontrado.
