Greetings, dear friends at Feathered Friends. I am back to participate in Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo Contest Round 277. This week's star is a rather wary pigeon; I came across it while visiting the supermarket with a friend. There is a small plaza there where people, children, and pigeons all gather.
When the area isn't too busy, you can enjoy a front-row view of the spectacle—watching a large gathering of pigeons walking about, foraging for grain, and interacting with one another. On the day I went to the supermarket, however, there were many children playing in the small plaza, so no pigeons were in sight. I could spot a few high up in the trees, looking as if to say, "We can't come down." But then, my friend said, "Look, there's one"—he knows I enjoy photographing birds. So, we watched it without getting too close and took a few photos; the first one is the one I chose for this contest, as it was the one I liked best.
It turned out great! This time, I took the photo using my friend's phone, which has a better zoom than mine. The pigeon suspected we were following it; it would stop and stare right at us, as if wondering, "What is wrong with these people?" We had to wait a couple more minutes so it wouldn't fly off, and there it was, just watching us. Then it started walking, and I managed to get another shot that I thought was really lovely—it looked so pensive.

Saludos estimados amigos de amigos emplumados. Aquí estoy de vuelta para participar en Amigos emplumados - Concurso de fotos, ronda 277. La protagonista de esta semana es una paloma, algo precavida ella, la encontré cuando fui al supermercado con un amigo. En ese lugar hay una pequeña plazoleta donde se reúnen personas, niños y también las palomas.
Cuando el lugar no está muy transitado, se puede disfrutar en primera fila el espectáculo, ver a muchas palomas reunidas, caminado, buscando granos para comer y conversando entre ellas. Ese día que fui al súper muchos niños estaban jugando en la plazoleta y por eso no se veían palomas por allí. Pude divisar a algunas en lo alto de los árboles, como diciendo “no podemos bajar”, pero de pronto, mi amigo me dijo “mira, ahí está una”, él sabe que me gusta fotografiar aves. Así que la estuvimos observando, sin acercarnos mucho, le tomamos unas fotos, la primera, es la elegida para participar en este concurso, fue la que más me gustó.
Quedó linda!, esta vez tomé la foto con el teléfono de mi amigo que tiene un mejor zoom que el mío. La paloma sospechaba que la estábamos siguiendo, se detenía y nos miraba fijo, como preguntándose: que le pasa a esta gente?. Tuvimos que esperar un par de minutos más para que no se escapara, y ella, ahí, mirándonos. Después comenzó a caminar y logré otra toma que me pareció muy bonita, se le veía pensativa.
