Greetings dear friends, welcome to my blog. Today I am once again joining the weekly contest Qurator's: Hive Top Chef! | French Fries in. I think this contest inspired me to make french fries—I never make them this way. I usually serve them with a hamburger and also as part of the famous “papas mixtas.” I created my own version: slightly crispy french fries with lots of cheese. I’ll admit that my original plan was to make “salchipapas,” but at the last minute I went shopping and couldn’t find any sausages at the stores near my house.

I had no choice but to decide to whip something up quickly, but even though it was improvised, I liked the result. I don't want to say any more—just check out my recipe.
Ingredients
- 25 grams of mozzarella cheese
- 40 grams of diced ham
- Diced white cheese, to taste
- Cheddar cheese, to taste
- Oil for frying
- 1 egg

Preparation
1.- Lightly brown the ham in a skillet over low heat with just a little oil..

2.- We make an omelet with cheese. We beat the egg and add mozzarella and cheddar cheese. We cook it on both sides in a little oil over low heat. We place the omelet in a bow.

3.- Peel the potato, wash it, and cut it into julienne strips. Pat it dry thoroughly with paper towels to remove excess water. Then, fry the potatoes in enough oil until they are golden brown.

4.- We break up the omelet.

5.- Add the French fries, ham, and diced white cheese to the crumbled tortilla. Mix well. Finally, add the grated cheese.

6.- Bake in the microwave until both types of cheese have melted.

This was the result—I hope you liked it; I loved it.

I hope you liked it, this has been my participation in Hive Top Chef competition. See you another time.
