Greetings dear friends, welcome to my blog. Today I am once again joining the weekly contest Qurator's: Hive Top Chef! | Healthy. Eating healthy is one of my priorities, especially when I get back from a workout. For weeks now, I've been wanting to make some lettuce wraps—something like a rolled-up sandwich, but without bread or other carbs. Although I saw similar recipes online, I added my own personal touch, which never fails.

I made this dish for dinner; it’s low in calories, simple, and above all, very nutritious. In addition to lettuce, which is rich in fiber and water, this wrap contains good sources of protein, such as chicken and eggs. I’ve also included monounsaturated fats that lower bad cholesterol—in other words, good fats. I added tomato to give it a bit of acidity. You can put many different ingredients in this wrap; I chose these ones, making sure not to use too many so it would roll up easily.
Ingredients
- 90 grams of romaine lettuce
- 175 grams of chicken breast fillet
- 50 grams of tomato
- 115 grams of avocado
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of white vinegar
- Salt to taste

Preparation
1.- Wash the lettuce and let it soak in a teaspoon of white vinegar for 15 minutes to disinfect it. After 15 minutes, wash it again to remove the vinegar, then separate the leaves. Set aside.

2.- Boil the eggs for 8 minutes and let them cool to room temperature.

3.- Season the chicken breast fillets with salt to taste. Cook them in their own juices until they are slightly browned. Once they have cooled to room temperature, cut them into small pieces. Set aside.

4.- Wash the tomato, remove the seeds, and cut it into cubes. Cut the avocado into cubes as well. Set aside.

5.-. We peel the eggs and then slice them.

6.-. We prepare the wraps. We layer the lettuce—three layers—and add the filling ingredients: chicken, tomato, avocado, and sliced eggs. We roll them up carefully.

Here's how these stuffed lettuce rolls turned out when we served them.

I hope you liked it, this has been my participation in Hive Top Chef competition. See you another time.
