Greetings, dear friends! Welcome to my blog. I’m participating once again in the photo contest organized by @qurator, Qurator's Photo Quest | Yellow. This week, yellow takes center stage. I took this photo in my backyard; I had grown these flowers in orange and yellow.

It's called Mirasol, but its scientific name is Cosmos sulphureus. It's a perennial species, so we'll see its flowers all year round. Its petals are beautiful, and the center is filled with small florets. In this photo, in the central disk, its tubular florets haven't yet opened to reveal the blooms. I invite @belkyscabrera to participate.

This is my entry in Qurator's Photo Quest competition. Photos taken with my Xiaomi Redmi 9 phone.
