Greetings dear friends of Hive Pets, it's been 4 months since you adopted Balto, that little dog I rescued from the street and that I had to give up for adoption because I couldn't keep three dogs, plus a somewhat hostile coexistence with Doll and Coco. How to forget that he was the possible carrier of the deadly distemper virus to my dogs, they were very difficult days. Balto has grown a lot, I went to visit him because I am friends with his owners, his mistress is the one who does my hair, I was happy to see him, he is big and he looks happy.
When I arrived at the house, Balto came running out to bark at me, but when he approached me he recognized me and went into affectionate mode. I went into the house and made him affectionate, then sat down to have my hair groomed. During the time I was there, Balto stayed very close to me, I made him a lot of affection and played with him. I also took the opportunity to take several pictures of him, Balto was so restless that many of them came out blurry.

When I was leaving it started to rain, the rain was light, with some wind, and it was already late, it was getting dark. When I opened the door to leave, Balto ran away, I thought he would go to another part of the street, but he didn't, he surprised me because he left with me walking beside me. Before taking the bus, I made a stop at the bakery, I went in to buy a juice, I thought Balto would go back home, however, he stayed outside waiting for me and that was not all, he started barking as if he was calling me, he was barking until I managed to pay for my order and leave the bakery.
When I came out, Balto walked in the direction of his house, then ran away as if excited, I took the opportunity to hide so I could cross the street and take the bus, but the dog came back to look for me and stopped at the door of the bakery again, he must have thought I went back inside. I didn't have the heart to leave him there waiting for me, so I called him and went back home with him. Balto was ahead of me, running, but every now and then he would turn to look at me as if to make sure I was going back with him. That's how it was all the way until we arrived at his owners' house.

All this reminded me of the Hachiko movie, “Always by your side”. When they opened the door for him, Balto came in and stared at me as if to say “come in”, but I just said goodbye and left. Seeing him in his new home makes me happy, that was two weeks ago, today I came back and saw him again, Balto was looking at me with tender eyes. I am happy to see him in a home full of love and that those days when he lived in the street are behind him, as well as his sad face.

Saludos estimados amigos de Hive Pets, han pasado 4 meses desde que adoptaron a Balto, aquel perrito que rescaté de la calle y que tuve que dar en adopción porque no podía mantener a tres perros, además de una convivencia algo hostil con Muñeca y Coco. Como olvidar que fue el posible portador del virus mortal moquillo a mis perros, fueron días muy difíciles. Balto ha crecido mucho, lo fui a visitar porque tengo amistad con sus dueños, su ama es quien me arregla el cabello, me alegró verlo, está grande y se ve feliz.
Cuando llegué a la casa, Balto salió corriendo a ladrarme, pero cuando se acercó me reconoció y se puso en modo cariñoso. Entré a la casa y le hice cariño, luego me senté para que me arreglaran el cabello. Durante el tiempo que estuve allí, Balto permaneció muy cerca de mí, yo le hice mucho cariño y jugueteaba con el. También aproveché de tomarle varias fotos, Balto estaba tan inquieto que muchas salieron movidas.

Cuando ya me iba comenzó a llover, la lluvia era tenue, con algo de viento, y ya era algo tarde, estaba oscureciendo. Cuando abrí la puerta para irme, Balto se escapó, pensé que se iría a otra parte de la calle, pero no fue así, me sorprendió porque se fue conmigo caminando a mi lado. Antes de tomar el bus, hice una parada en la panadería, entré para comprar un jugo, pensé que Balto se regresaría a su casa, no obstante, se quedó afuera esperándome y eso no fue todo, se puso a ladrar como si me estuviera llamando, estuvo ladrando hasta que logré pagar mi pedido y salir de la panadería.
Cuando salí, Balto caminó en dirección a su casa, después salió corriendo como emocionado, yo aproveché de esconderme para poder cruzar la calle y tomar el bus, pero el perro se devolvió a buscarme y se detuvo en la puerta de la panadería otra vez, seguro pensó que volví a entrar. No tuve corazón para déjalo allí esperándome, así que lo llamé y me regresé a su casa con el. Balto iba adelante, corriendo, pero de vez en cuando volteaba a verme como asegurándose de que yo me regresaría con el. Así estuvo todo el camino hasta que llegamos a la casa de sus dueños..

Todo esto me recordó la película de Hachiko, “Siempre a tu lado”. Cuando le abrieron la puerta, Balto entró y me quedó mirando como diciéndome “entra”, pero solo me despedí y me fui. Verlo en su nuevo hogar me hace feliz, eso fue hace dos semanas, hoy volví y lo vi de nuevo, Balto me miraba con ojos de ternura. Me alegra verlo en un hogar lleno de amor y que aquellos días cuando vivía en la calle, quedaron atrás, al igual que su semblante triste.
