Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. The summer transfer window has kicked off to an incredible start this week and I was shocked because I didn't expect one of the transfers that happened during the course of two this into week to happen. After all, there were no signs. Last week was buzzing about Julian Alvarez's comment about not being played in important matches at Manchester City as he wants to be involved and not sidelined on the bench.

When Pep was asked about Alvarez's comment, he said he understood where Alvarez was coming from, and it all depended on Alvarez's decision if he wanted to stay at the club. Pep Guardiola even said that once Alves is done with his holiday break, then they can talk things out, but it seems to have changed with the recent news by Fabrizio Romano today. Atletico Madrid approached Manchester City and submitted their bid for the Argentine. At first, the package was worth 35 to 40 million euros, but as of today, Atletico improved their offer to a 75 million fixed fee plus 25 add-ons for the deal.

Manchester City accepted the deal, but according to Fabrizio Romano, there are talks on personal terms between Julian Alvarez's camp and Atletico Madrid about this salary. Atletico is proposing 2-3 million euros but it won't take long and I am sure by the end of today Alvarez's camp and Atletico Madrid will come to an agreement so the deal can be signed and sealed completely.

Julian Alvarez is an incredible player, and I am sure he will do well in Atletico Madrid under the management of Diego Semione. The obvious reason Atletico Madrid pushed for this deal was because PSG wouldn't high jack the deal because of the departure of Morata, who is now an AC Milan player. Morita was Atletico's top striker, and with his departure, the club needed to get a young, talented replacement. Memphis Depay who would have gotten the chance to get more playing time left Atletico this summer as his contract expired as it stands now Depay is a free agent and my guess is he will probably go to Saudi Arabia if any of the Saudi clubs approach him with good offers.

Looking forward to seeing Julian Alvarez in the Laliga Santander this season and I hope he makes an impact on the team since he wants to be in important matches he will have to show the quality he possesses when the time is right. It's a big win for Manchester City because they bought Alvarez's for just 11 million euros and now are set to make 95 million euros on the deal. It just shows City knows how to make a good deal and one thing I picked from this transfer is that there was no panic from Pep Guardiola's side of these transfers as everything seems calm with the club.

Laliga is one more week from kicking off, and I can't wait for the season to begin. It is going to be competitive in Laliga this season as the stakes are high now on the price to be crowned Champions Of Spain. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by, and have a good day.
