Previously available only on Base, Canton, Ethereum, and NEAR, Circle’s tokenized money market fund (TMMF), USYC, is now on Solana, the leading high-performance blockchain.

USYC, first launched in May, 2023, is a tokenized money market fund that delivers yield-bearing collateral with near-instant, 24/7, redemptions at scale.

USYC is a 4th largest tokenized treasury asset, offering qualified institutional investors exposure to shares of the Hashnote International Short Duration Fund Ltd, a professionally managed, short‑duration US government money market fund that can be redeemed to and from USDC in real time.

The tokenized US treasury market is worth over $8 billion today, according to data from RWA.xyz. In the past 30 days, this market has grown by over $870 million, with Securitize’s BUIDL, Superstate’s USTB and Circle’s USYC leading inflows.

USYC's launch on Solana enables native decentralized applications to access real-time yield-accrual treasury assets worth over $724 million with programmability. As a tokenized yield collateral, USYC can be leveraged by DeFi protocols across lending markets, decentralized perpetual trading and more.
