it's me again after some days of being away from my desk now I've almost recovered from things I was dealing in my real life and it's time to comeback from the trenches.
There's a lot of things in life to deal with especially when you're at such point of your life and age where you've to make certain decisions no matter how difficult they're.
Went ghost mode, did searched for summer internships and mostly they're seeking for stupid references and hiring inner circles. The biggest lie they told me and everyone is "your chance to shine and learn with experts to polish your skills" isn't for everyone like they advertised.
The fact is we all humans lie to each other and have told many of the lies to people around us and the loved one. Some lies are good for your own and for the others. I'm personally sick of people lying about things especially in career/professionals or in the family but there's time when you have to lie like I do for one thing every single time.
Everytime when I go to the market and buy stuff especially when I'm paying a bit more than I should spend on something and I can't bargain enough.
When I return home with the purchase I've made. My mom always wants accountability where the money is going and when she do ask me about how much this thing cost me.. I'll always tell her less price than actual price.
Like if I bought something for 100rs than I'll tell her it's price is 75rs just to make sure she don't say anything about that purchase.
Asian mom knows when someone is lying
The one thing I'm worst at it is saying a lie to someone. From the beginning I was told not to lie and when I did - I was punished in Asian style aka mom sandals.
Everytime when I tried to lie about something she always caught me off guard and I never lie to her only because when I make eye contact with her, I end up laughing while saying that lie lol.
Only Good this Lie did to me
Was saving me from mom all the time everytime I bought something and she asked for price.. I knew exactly what I needed to tell her.
telling her half the correct price of product will freak her out. So I better keep her temper cool with a little lie and it always works.
Other than that no lie works for me and I don't have this habit of lying about things.
Wrapping Up...
In the end I believe we all have lied at some point for the better good and it only makes sense when the matter isn't too big that will cause you trouble in life when they find out truth in the future.
It can easily break trust and hurt someone when you lie about things and that's why we shouldn't do that. I'm curious to know if you've did lied about something for the good of others or what do you think about it. feel free to share about it in the comments.
