kids be committing crimes every now and then but they be getting treated like kids when it comes to doing crimes, not like the adults have been.
There's prison for kids too, and some of those crimes get washed up once they are adult. Because they've matured and now they have broader perspectives to see things. Juvenile justice isn't that bad, like it keeps things in check.
One doesn't just get away with that excuse that they're kid, so the rest of life has been judged on what they did once.
Kids don't hide anything, they show what they're becoming by simply reacting over things that most parents let go unnoticed. When a kid is growing up, we call their wrongdoing that he's just a kid being mischievous and all.
But those should be corrected, should be told what is right and wrong. Catching them tell a lie? Don't laugh it off but take it seriously and teach them the right thing.
Not any kid have the same ability of making good judgement as the one we do as adults, there's not many crimes done by kids but it mostly starts from the bullying, when they are with the wrong group of friends.
The other become what they are and incase they end up doing serious crime. They're suddenly not safe for the people out living in peace. So it is better to put them away behind bars, give them the sentence that they deserve and juvenile justice keep in check how they change over the time.
The serious age of changing for a kid is 14 to 18 , in that time they'd grow up with better judgement, perspective of things and going to be a little more mature
But still it is not enough to weigh them on the same scale as the adults. They done crime but the punishment doesn't come closer to what adults be treated.
I have seen plenty of times when a kid do something their parents would go like "he's just a kid" it boils my blood like can't you see the shit he's onto?
The same parents would save their kids if they commit a serious crime by making the same excuse "he's just a kid" and it doesn't change the fact that victim is still a victim. No matter how many time you bring that just a kid excuse, it isn't enough to give justice to the victim.
Also I've seen many examples where a kid went into road kill by crashing into someone and the parents have bought them the freedom by giving bribery or by using powers.
It is so worse when things like that happen Infront of us and we can't do anything about it. I believe we need to react seriously when they do bad things, teach them young so when they grow up they don't end up as murderers or any other kind of criminals.
