in today's world every person should be working on getting skills that helps them in the future where Ai can replace human who have no skills at all, but to learn those skills there still many underprivileged people who seeks school or institutes courses to learn skills
instead of learning from the internet, it's just because many people in this world still don't have internet or no idea where to start from since they're confused as well as school or institutes promise to give them a diploma/certificate that helps them find job.
There are plenty of courses and course sellers in every street, on internet and most of those are cash grabbers.
In my city there are plenty of private schools that sells courses like "computer course, typing course, English language course, graphic design course" and all of these are courses we don't need anymore.

In computer course they'll literally teach you how you can install applications, how you can install windows, creating folders etc which is basics, also typing courses or English language course posters is something I've seen in every private school door
Duo lingo is one app that can help us learn language and YouTube is full of videos that teaches different languages but these course sellers are just cash grabbers or they also don't have any better skills to offer.
Graphic design course have little to no scope as there's already big players in the market and now Ai is also doing good with graphics, so it doesn't make sense to spend money on course that teaches you something that'll help you make nothing or so less in the future.
I want my younger brother to learn some skills like "programming + web and app development" so I searched my entire neighborhood, went out in almost every private institute but all they had to offer was those garbage courses
At the end I gave up and told him to learn those skills on the internet. Basic programming first, learn html, JavaScript and so on

The goal I've made for him is make websites and develop applications in the future. These skills are something that'll stay and it'll be easy for him to adapt with AI as next thing he'll have to learn is eventually Ai.
The type of courses we need is "difficult to learn by your own" which is mostly technical or complicated things like programming, app development etc.
It's not possible to learn everything by your own, sometimes you need assistance and guidance so that's the whole point why we go for courses.
Trading course was a mistake
I thought learning trading would be good idea and I spend some money on a trading course at that time I was new in space and whatever I told in those courses was literally for beginners like "suoport and resistance" basic things
And later when I got Rekt trying those stupid things I learnt from course.. I realised what a waste of money that course was.
I had to unlearn everything they taught to get better at trading after all these years and just like that there's plenty of course sellers making living off that in crypto space.
Wrapping Up...
In the end courses nowadays are nothing more than cash grab scheme. They provide little to no utility and those certificates are just another piece of degree if you've not learnt the skill. In some cases, even if you've not learnt that skill but have completed course than they grant that certificate (it's like that in my side of world).
I'd love to know how difficult it is to find legit courses in your country and how skillful they make once you complete, do share about it in the comments.
