We are living in such scary times where ai has become something too good that is already taking people jobs now as we have seen
The first layoff because of Ai when it's just the beginning of this year and the way market reacted to that outcome is more scary.
Everyone knows there would be a time when ai will replace them and will do their job. They'll be unemployed and it is going to become a lot difficult to make living when things will be more expensive than it is currently.
I wasn't expecting ai to make progress this quick like it has been only 3 years since this trend began with openai and now there's plenty of ai projects leading in this race
Out of all those projects we have Claude, perplexity that is quite something scary in this space.
The block laying off 40% of it's team isn't a coincidence because now Claude has potential to do plenty of stuff from making financial statements to finding cyber security threats and doing your regular 9 to 5 tasks from desk.
I don't think we'd need desk jobs by the end of this year as it'll be completely replaced by ai and no jokes at all, if you're doing customer support and any sort of job that has something to do with computer like making those financial reports, excel sheets and stuff
You should be working on something far better to not be replaced by ai entirely.
It wasn't scary enough that ai has cost people their job but when I saw that news pumped block stocks
I was in shambles like how could unemployment due to ai is pumping stocks now? We are doomed because now
More companies are going to pull the same thing, more will lay off and more less of a market reaction it will have, the more lay offs will keep on occuring.
I've realised now the world is going to be completely different, labour market will change, only margins for these companies using Ai will increase while humans will be hustling to find jobs that no longer exist.
Unemployment rate will go brrr, these companies will become filthy rich because of maximizing use of Ai and cutting human jobs.
The instability it'll create and how it'll disrupt entire economy is something scary and not far from reality at this point.
I think now is the right time to spend maximum time learning how you can train your own llms and agents, how you can leverage ai to build something that will retire you before it becomes impossible.
