Happy start to the week, my fellow food lovers. We’re kicking off a new week, and another month has flown by. It’s incredible how time flies—it never stops, it just keeps moving forward; it’s us who feel stuck, but hey, we’re still alive, and that’s something.
Yesterday I was craving something sweet, but I’m trying not to break my diet or overdo it on sugar and refined flours, so I remembered I still had some Greek yogurt left, and I had a banana lying around, so I said to myself, “Well, let’s make this mix and see how it turns out.”

From this mixture, I made this flourless, sugar-free banana brownie; here are the ingredients and step-by-step instructions on how I made it.
Ingredients:
-
1 egg
-
1 banana
-
1 tablespoon Greek yogurt
-
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
-
1/2 tablespoon baking powder
-
vanilla
Instructions:
First, I mashed the banana until it was pureed. Then, in a separate bowl, I mixed the egg with the yogurt and added it to the mashed banana. Finally, I added the cocoa powder, baking powder, and vanilla.

Finally, we whisk everything together, and we’ll end up with this mixture. In my case, I wanted to try cooking it in a preheated, lightly greased skillet for about 10 minutes; you can also bake it in the oven, and if you have a microwave, that works too.

As you can see, it didn't rise much, but it turned out nice and soft, with a hint of yogurt, and really delicious, to be honest. A little tip: if you put it in the fridge and eat it cold, it tastes even better. 😋
And here’s how my brownie turned out—as you can see, no flour or sugar, delicious and nutritious, and super tasty with a small glass of milk; I’ve already tried it, hehehe—definitely a great snack.

I'm taking this opportunity to donate a percentage of the rewards I receive to support the initiative proposed by my friend @chacald.dcymt. You can view the post here.. I want an Angel for Venezuela, I think that this way, we can also help—every little contribution adds up, and as they say, it gives people hope.
