To all you food lovers out there, it’s a pleasure to greet you and share this with you. Today, as always, I’m bringing you a “fitness” recipe—hahaha—I say that because, well, it’s a sweet treat with no sugar or gluten. For those of you, like me, who are on a diet or don’t want to eat sugar, this cake is definitely perfect for you—a delicious and nutritious dessert.

Today's recipe is a delicious quick cake made with simple, easy-to-find ingredients; I'll tell you what they are and how I made it.

Ingredients:

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 cup lactose-free milk
  • 1/2 tablespoon baking powder

Instructions:

Now let's get started on the preparation. For this cake, the first thing I did was soak the oats in milk.

For a couple of minutes, mash the bananas with a fork; once that’s done, mix them with the eggs, then add the cocoa powder and baking powder, and finally fold in the oats.

We mix all of this together until we get this thick mixture; now we transfer it to our baking sheet and then bake it in the oven for about 40 minutes.

And that’s how our little quick cake turns out. The downside of this cake—or rather, of using only this flour—is that it doesn’t rise much; to be honest, I don’t know if it’s because of the flour or the baking pan I use, hehe, but anyway, the important thing is that it tastes amazing.

I’ll tell you that I made this cake especially for a birthday—it was my aunt’s birthday—and since I couldn’t eat the last time, I wanted to bring a cake that I could actually eat. So I made this one; everyone liked my creation, hahaha, not bad at all—low in sugar and without heavy flour.

So now you know—if you want to eat cake at a party but can’t have the usual kind, bring your own healthy version, hehe. See you next time. 😜
