Lately, I’ve been relying on my phone to keep up with my usual tasks. I even tried to continue creating designs on Canva, but it’s definitely much more difficult—it’s just not the same as working on a computer with a large screen. Trying to do it on a small phone screen makes the whole process quite cumbersome.
Still, I keep trying—partly to stay active, and partly to save up for a new laptop. I’ve been exploring various alternatives and testing out different apps. A while back, I mentioned some platforms that pay you for hosting live streams—you just stay on camera for an hour or two, whether you’re chatting, listening to music, working, or even just hanging out in the kitchen. If you happen to receive gifts from other users, that’s an added bonus! Since my phone isn’t exactly top-tier, it’s hard to keep it running for that long, so I only log on long enough to complete the required tasks within the app.
I also recently came across another app that supposedly pays you for not using your phone for a few minutes. I know these types of apps can be a hassle, and reaching the minimum withdrawal threshold is often difficult if you’re relying solely on the points earned from completing tasks. That’s why they say the best approach is to get referrals—though that’s a whole other story; not everyone is willing to download an app without knowing for sure if it actually pays out.
I like to be honest, so I’ll share that I’m currently testing an app called MINUTE. It’s not hard to use—as I mentioned, you just set a timer for a few minutes each day, and that’s it. The minimum withdrawal is $5 via PayPal, which requires 8,500 points. I’ve only managed to earn 1,000 points so far—haha—after using it for four days. So, I’ll leave it to you to decide: is it worth it or not? If you’d like to help me out, just download the app, register with your email, and enter my invitation code: OG5KVL. Please do this—it’ll help me see if it actually pays out! It’ll also help me keep saving up for a laptop; as the saying goes, "little by little, the sack gets filled." 😜
