In the last Sunday, it was one of the most interesting days in my life because on that day something unexpected happened in front of my eyes. As it was the weekend day I woke up lately and it was very common for me in the weekend times. Every day I used to make my coffee at home but I felt a little lazy and that day my laziness stopped me from making coffee but without coffee how could I start my day? So I rushed to the nearby coffee shop for my morning coffee. Within 5 minutes I reached my destination and I saw the coffee shop was almost filled with customers. After seeing for some seconds I found only one ever left and I immediately took the place.
It was a famous coffee shop in my area. It was not because of the test of coffee. The reason was it was the only coffee shop in my area. In the case of taste of coffee, it was pretty good also. In the case of service, there was a negative point and it was that the service of the coffee shop was not so good means after ordering a coffee I needed to wait at least 7 to 10 minutes to get my coffee. In free time, it's not a problem but whenever someone is in a hurry then it's too much time. I placed my order and started scrolling my mobile and checking the news for time passes. After a while, I heard two familiar voices and I found two neighbors enjoying coffee and sharing the pain of their life which made me surprised. I was surprised because between the two never they were never friendly. In fact, sometimes they used to quarrel with each other like they were enemies. Both of them remained aggressive whenever they saw each other. So finding them at the same table and enjoying coffee was quite surprising.
I was hearing their conversation and I figured out both of them blaming each other for their activities but the shocking news was nobody was looking hyper or aggressive. Moreover, they were smiling sometimes. I felt suspicious but nothing I could do in that case. I thought a miracle happened and they became friends. Seeing this I became more observant and I felt a little bit abnormal to see the overall situation of the coffee shop. I was not sure if there was anything wrong or not. I felt like something was not okay and the behaviour of customers felt a little bit different. My inner mind was telling me to leave the place immediately but I stayed stick on my place because I didn't want to miss my morning coffee. Approximately after 12 minutes my coffee arrived and I asked if everything was all right and in reply I got a positive answer. I was going to take my first sip but an unexpected thing happened.
The manager of the coffee shop suddenly noticed that one person was stealing wallets from some customers. Fortunately, there was CC camera and the manager paid attention to the monitor. So the manager took immediate action and caught that thief. Coincidencely police officer was available in the coffee shop and taking coffee. The manager immediately informed the police officer. The police officer was taking action but the thief started to cry and said "I am very poor and I am doing it for the sake of my family." The thief apologized and said that he would never repeat the mistakes anytime in his life which every thief used to say after getting caught. But it was shocking that the police started to defend the thief and let him go. I felt like I was dreaming and something wrong happening in the environment of the coffee shop.
So I just left the coffee shop and returned to my home without drinking coffee. I have taken my coffee in the house. But the suspense of the coffee shop wasn't ready to go for my head. So I started to scroll through my Facebook Newsfeed. There I saw the news and the news was "a crazed worker at a prominent factory has decided to spike the coffee with a serum that makes people extra empathetic". And the coffee shop I visited was one of those coffee shops where that kind of coffee was served.
