I am a teacher but not thinking of it as a career

Being alive is the greatest blessing and there's no doubt about it. If we think practically we need to consume food to be alive because it provides us energy. Again we need money to buy food or for cultivating food. And money never comes to us by itself because we need to do something to earn money. So we go to the outside world and work hard to earn money. it's true that in this digital world, we can earn money online also but we still prefer offline work.

In the offline world, I am still an undergraduate student and this year I am going to finish my graduation. So technically I am not doing any kind of official job right at the moment. But without doing any kind of job I can earn a handsome amount each month. You might be thinking what do I do to earn in offline?

Actually, I used to do tuition to earn money money. Tuition means I used to teach students as a private tutor. Getting tuitions are not so easy task for everyone. In fact, most of students like me face huge difficulties in finding tuition but in my case, it's not so difficult because as I am reading in a top university, it automatically acts as a reference. And top university students have a high market value or most guardians prefer to select those students as private tutors.

Naturally, I used to receive 40-60$ per tuition, and I do 4-6 tuition. So, on average more than 150$ I earn by doing tuition each month. It's a handsome earning and it can give good financial support through the earning. Unfortunately, it's not a permanent thing and I am not thinking of it as a career also even if it can help me to earn a good amount of money if I take it as a full-time job.

Although I'm not thinking of it as my career, In society, It has a significant impact. I think it's easy to guess the impact. It is because it is related to education. Education is the backbone of a nation and the prosperity of the country is dependent on it and the profession which taking the responsibility to make the future generation better and educated is teaching. And currently, I'm playing the role of a teacher and I feel I am doing an honorable profession although I haven't taken it as a profession yet.

According to my opinion, teaching is one of the most honorable professions and all teachers deserve respect. And I believe teacher naturally received enough respect in their life. Instead of it, I'm not thinking of it as my career and obviously, there is a reason behind it. And the reason is quite simple and it's the money or the finance. Let me explain a little bit about it.

In developed countries, the salary of a teacher is high compared to other professions can't the best students compete to be a teacher there but in my country, it's totally opposite. In my country, the salary of teachers is low compared to most of the professions. Naturally, the best students go for the best opportunities and other best professions. In my case, I will try to be a fisheries expert who will try to do a job in the fishery sector or as a fisheries officer and the salary is high there, and as a government job it will provide me various kinds of facilities also. Based on my educational qualifications, I can serve the best thing in my country by doing a job related to the fisheries sector.

As a teacher I can also serve the nation to educate students but compared to the current time the salary of teachers is not enough. In my country, those people mostly become teachers who don't get opportunities in other professions as their last hope. It should not be like that and it's not good for the educational system as well as for the country but it's happening and I can't change the system alone. I think the government should try to increase the salary of teachers and naturally, the best and most qualified student will be selected to teach the future generation and that will bring better results for the country.

So I won't be a teacher in the future and I can say it confidently. I don't feel any kind of hesitation for it because it's my right and I don't think I'm doing anything unethical. It's the fault of our educational system and for a better result, government needs to change the system. if anyone needs to blame then I must the government is responsible for it.
