Life is boring without adventure, and sometimes we need to go for refreshment, and going on to adventure can be the best way for refreshing the mind, at least for me. That's the reason I try to go on adventures whenever I get the opportunity. 15th July was one of those days.
After submitting my research paper, I was free, and I was thinking of visiting a place with my school friends, but some of my university friends requested to join them, and without any hesitation, I joined them, and the destination was to visit the Khoiyachora Waterfalls, which were located in Mirsharai Upazila, Chittagong, Bangladesh.
Wake up early in the morning, we hired a vehicle to reach the location from where we started our hiking. We have finished our breakfast and morning coffee immediately. Although the one-time coffee cup design was good, the coffee taste didn't meet my expectations.
We bought some necessary equipment and food from there before we started hiking, as we knew at least we needed 2.5–3 hours to reach the waterfall. We started our hiking and enjoying the greeny nature. Hiking in such a place was quite refreshing, and I believe anyone loves to go in such a place.
After half an hour of hiking, there was a ticket counter, and it was quite surprising to me because usually, ticket counters exist at the entrance of a trail.
The entrance fee was only 20 cents, which was very little. There were 8 members in our group, and it cost us 1.60 dollars for the ticket, and the ticket design was very simple. Whatever it was not so important.
Many other people also came like us to enjoy the beauty of nature and that was good because visiting such a place with few members is quite risky.

To be honest, I was a little tense because, among 8 of us, 4 were inexperienced, and naturally, it was a risky place when someone is inexperienced. Fortunately, there was no rain on that day otherwise, it would be very difficult for those new ones because walking on slippery roads can be life-threatening.
Here is my group. You can see seven members only because I am behind the camera 😅. The cameraman remains missing from the picture, and that's why I am not in the picture.
The sound of water was quite relaxing, and you can watch and hear it through my video (6 seconds).
Before reaching the main waterfall, there was a mini waterfall, and all of us enjoyed a little time there. All of us were excited, and you can understand it by seeing the pictures 😅.
After walking for so long time, we were hungry, and after taking food, we went to the main waterfall, for which we went there. I captured a little video (17 seconds) of the waterfall, and I think it can be enough to show the beauty of the waterfall.
I have taken another video, which was very risky because my smartphone is not waterproof. My shoulder was under the water when I was capturing the video. Have a look at the video (only 11 seconds).
I paid the price for it also because a small amount of water entered inside of my smartphone, but fortunately, because of my quick action, my smartphone is still working 😅. Instead of it, I think it was a worthy one to take the risk.
I wanted to go to the top of the waterfall, but one of the group members was a little injured. It was a minor injury, but we decided not to go up. So we returned from there and finished our lunch in a restaurant.
And we finished our adventure with a cup of coffee like we started in the morning. But fortunately this time the coffee was quite decent in taste. I liked it.
That's how we ended our adventure trip. In a word, it was a very good and enjoyable one. I wish I could capture more photographs to share with you, but the place was quite risky to capture photographs in all the places. Whatever, I hope you also enjoyed the adventure through my travel blog.
