Humans are social creatures. The great creator has made us dependent. That is, even if we do not want it, we need someone else's help. That is why we develop the bond of kinship, the bond of brotherhood. There is another bond in this, which does not have the bond of kinship, the bond of blood. That bond is friendship.
A friend is such a bond that can never betray. It remains together until death. But recently, that matter is very rare. A few days ago, a friend killed another friend. However, in my view, it was not friendship. It was self-interest.
Many of us confuse friendship with self-interest. Selfish people create friendship to save their own interests. Once their interests are saved, they leave.
Many people say that friends are known. It is true. But if you think that all your friends will always come forward in your trouble, then naturally you will be disappointed. Even if we want to, we cannot always stand by our friend in danger. We have to remember that he is not only tied to me.
He has a family, he has other things to do. Because of which not everyone can overcome that limitation even if they want to. Actually, it is good. No, it is not right to think that he is bad.
A friendship should be such that even if there is no contact for a long time, when there is contact, the relationship seems to be as strong as before. Because if you think that if he has not contacted me for a long time, he is not my friend, basically this is where selfishness works. Due to which the friendship relationship turns into a selfish relationship.
I have many friends with whom I have not contacted for years. But whenever we contact, we forget that we have not been in contact for a long time. Due to which our relationship is still intact as before.
However, we all have various limitations around us. So if a friend does not come forward in danger, there is nothing to be angry or upset about. If he puts you in danger, then you can blame him. But we should never blame him for not coming forward in times of danger, because we don't know what storms are brewing in his life.
