La presión funcionó y el Borussia terminó aceptando la alta oferta de los culés ante la relación que estaba completamente rota.

Al final todas estas medidas fueron efectivas, los jugadores en cuestión lograron salir de donde estaban. ¿Qué quiero decir con esto? - que Julián no está presionando absolutamente nada. Si los deseos de irse del Atlético para vestir la camisa del Barcelona son tan grandes TIENE que demostrarlo y plantarse pero no lo está haciendo. Ayer fue al entreno grupal y hoy también. Esto lo que le dice al club es que él no va a presionar y eventualmente se va a rendir y se quedará otra temporada. En mi opinión creo que a Julián le falta carácter para presionar si de verdad se quiere ir.

Se sabe que Álvarez ha hablando con Simeone para tratar de buscar una salida pero ha sido en vano, el técnico no tiene voz en este tema ya que lo que le compete a él es lo deportivo así que esa puerta está cerrada. Por parte de los directivos tampoco hay mucho que hacer, el presidente Gil Marín ha dicho en reiteradas oportunidades que la salida de Julián al Barcelona está absolutamente descartada a menos que paguen esos 500MM.
