Lo que vivimos esta semana con los partidos de vuelta de los playoff para así decidir quien finalmente pasaba a los octavos de final fue entre muchas cosas inesperado y como digo en el título, humillante. Más allá de lo visto con el Manchester City, equipo que no existió el día de ayer, hay que mencionar el revés gigante que sufrió el fútbol italiano con las eliminaciones del Atalanta, Milan y la Juventus, equipos que en el papel parecían capaces de poder acceder. Sorprende lo del Atalanta de Gasperini, terceros en la Serie A, quienes fueron superados por el Club Brujas belga por un global de 5-2; también la Juventus quienes habían ganado la ida 1-2 al PSV le dijeron adiós a los octavos después de que los neerlandeses sacaron casta y voltearon la eliminatoria llevándose la vuelta 3-1.
