Esta semana vuelven las eliminatorias para el mundial del 2026, unas que han sido un completo sube y baja de emociones en lo que a nuestra selección se refiere. Es parte del proceso ganar y perder, son cosas naturales y que siempre van a pasar pero hay algo más y es que la ilusión y la energía que giraba en torno en la selección lamentablemente con el pasar del tiempo siento que se ha ido diluyendo, aquella que reinó en la Copa América, por ejemplo. Todos los que vivimos en Venezuela sabemos y entendemos las razones de este fenómeno, no es mi deseo mezclar temas que no competen con lo deportivo pero cuando esos afectan el rendimiento en cancha y la conexión de los fanáticos pues se termina convirtiendo en un problema deportivo.

Decir que esto es culpa de los jugadores es una gran mentira, considero que dada su posición poco pueden hacer más allá de lo que han hecho, esto es un tema que trasciende y que va mucho más arriba. Y esto lo pueden notar en los propios partidos, en el último contra Uruguay en aquella cancha lo que menos había era ambiente deportivo, allí no habían fanáticos, habían solamente personas. Y eso lo volveremos a ver contra Argentina el jueves, lamentablemente; los que trataron de comprar entradas y no pudieron podrán corroborar esto.

El segundo enemigo es el estado de ánimo, más allá de lo hablado anteriormente la fecha pasada en cuanto a resultados fue un completo desastre, 1 punto de seis y con una goleada incluida seguramente no estaba en los planes de nadie. La cosa es que el primer rival para buscar desquitarse y sacudirse el polvo de esas caídas en nada más y nada menos que la albiceleste.
