Defence(99) 2026-10-02_21-33-48.png
Like my last update, I have found myself with some free time during the day, so I have been playing a bit more than usual. I still want to get that max cape by maxing out all of my skills, and I have slowly started to chip away at most of my skills. Additionally, I have managed to get one more agility level, so that makes my base stats 93, and I reached 2,360 total level. That is only 16 levels to go, and I also got 99 Defense. As I got the last remaining XP right before this post, I decided to grab a single screenshot with 99 Defense and my stats together. I am coming up towards the end as there just isn't that many levels to go. Just 7 more skills to max and then I have maxed stats in the game.

Slayer and Bossing

I am just doing Duradel for my slayer as I want to collect more things than just the imbued heart or eternal gem.

Kalphite Queen

The Kalphite Queen is one of the oldest bosses, and I honestly do not like this boss much. It doesn't give you much profit or XP, but I got this as a boss task. So I decided to just get my kill count to an even 300. It's because it's a long run back and forth, as I have to bank every kill.

Shellbane Gryphon

image.png
The Shellbane Gryphon is a slayer-only boss where you need a gryphon task to kill it. It's not hard as a task, but the profit here is kinda bad. I am still missing the jar and pet, though, so I would skip it if it wasn't for that.

Tombs of Amascut

I decided to do ToA, one of Runescape's raid solo. I put it as a level 150 invocation, and I died or reset quite a few times before I could clear it. I only did this in the past for Leagues and Gridmaster, so it took some time to get used to it. I had some trouble with the monkey room, Zebak when it does the jugs/roar, and Warden. Monkey room took the longest, and Zebak was just annoying. When I did clear it, I did die to Zebak twice, so my points went down a bit. I might come back to this in the future as I want the thread to upgrade my rune pouch, but practice makes perfect, I guess.

Skilling

I worked on a bunch of skills, but there were three that I focused on: Crafing, Agility and Sailing. Crafting was mainly battlestaves, cutting gems, or golem crafting. I did a few hours of blood runecrafting in Zeah as low effort runecrafting experience, but no Guardians of the Rift. Also, I did some fishing for the first time in a while. It was just barbarian fishing though because I didn't feel like doing Aerial or Tempoross.

Agility

image.png
I have been trying for at least 1 agility level per update, but that will break at some point. This week I did 42 runs of the Hallowed Sepulchre, and got quite a bit of agility experience. The drop rate of the ring is 1/200, so I am now over the drop rate. It's been fun, and I find myself clearing floor 4 and 5 chests without too much pressure. It's been mainly an hour or so a day over there, so I don't burn myself out. I wonder when I will get that ring, as I have mixed in some other agility training methods as a change of pace.

Sailing

image.png
I just find Sailing to be relaxing as I don't have to pay much attention, and it earns me some GP. I am at 99 Sailing now, but I plan to continue doing this, and I am not sure if I should try to afk the deep sea trawling fish. I have been doing this a bit less as I want to use the Hallowfell afk method for more combat experience when I can be back to my computer every 10 minutes. Sailing has been left for when I am out for over 20 minutes and have no time. Now that Defense is 99, I do plan to do more sailing as I don't need that combat experience anymore.

Conclusion and my plans

It's been great progress on my account as I got a ton of XP, and I had a bit more free time than I expected. The Hallowfell training is officially done as I have maxed my combat stats, and I did earn some decent prayer XP in the process. There are just 7 skills left, so I just need to push those slowly over time. Quite a few of them are close to 99, and the lowest is 94 Agility. I'll push all of them up, but I plan to get some buffer for Thieving as my Agility is starting to catch up.

Do you play Old School Runescape? What did you like most about it, and did you have any goals?
