Every week there is a Splinterlands challenge to share a rule set using a specific card and on this week's post it is a battle with the Healed Out rule set. I also encourage Splinterlands players to partake in the challenge because you get to try different strategies and earn some crypto in the process.

Rule set, Battle and Plan

The ruleset this time is Blood of Sunder, Healed Out, and Fog of War. This means that monsters can't heal and all monsters gain the corrosive ward ability. All monsters also lose sneak, snipe, and opportunity. There is also 26 mana available and I am left with the choice of fire or dragon splinter.

The summoner I chose to use this time is Yodin Zaku. The summoner effects gives +1 health, +1 ranged attack, and the blast ability.

Total Mana:26

I plan to use Antoid Platoon as my tank with the shield ability. After that is Molten Ash Golem as my backup tank with close range. Then I have ooze with slow followed by my 3 damage ranged damage dealers. The first of which has life leech because it would live longer as a tank.

Round 1

At first glance, I think that this match will be tough. I still think that I can win because I have blast but it depends on whether or not I can land enough attacks. My enemy has the speed advantage and I don't have the extra ranged damage that I thought I would have.

Round 2

round 2.png
I killed the martyr monster but it makes it even more dangerous for me. The magic monster looks to be more dangerous so my first tank will probably die this round.

Round 4

round 4.png
I was able to kill off the magic monster but my 2nd tank is almost dead. I missed a few attacks so the match will be closer than I would like

Round 6

round 6.png
After 5 rounds, I was able to take out the tank my opponent had. With this, my win is guaranteed because my opponent can't attack anymore

I won the match a few rounds later.

Conclusion

The battle went exactly as I expected. I didn't expect my opponent to use that specific summoner because it reduced my range damage and speed. I did miss a few attacks but I was able to land enough attacks to win. My choice of using Yodin was a great choice and I was able to deal enough damage with blast. I was worried about how things would work out but having the thorns monster up front made it easier to take out the magic flying monster.

You can see my entire match here.

What did you think of my match? Was there anything you would have done differently? I think it is quite interesting to see how different players play in a ruleset.
