The social space has become an environment where we make acquaintances and friends both from far and near. No wonder we have had different social media apps that have connected people, turning strangers into friends and bringing information to our doorstep faster than a college degree.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of engaging via several social media platforms, ranging from Facebook to WhatsApp. All have been beneficial to me without doubt, but since a year ago, when I joined Hive, it has automatically taken over all other social media platforms I know.

Hive has been that singular social media platform that can keep me awake and, even when I wake up, has an addictive bond to it. I hardly wait for notifications on Hive before coming to the chain, and I am sure to always find something innovative and interesting.
The communities on Hive have made it competitive with Google, as I am certain that I could get informed, especially from people's personal experiences on the chain. There's virtually no aspect of life that is not represented on Hive through the communities, leaving each user with the task of finding an appropriate niche.
The friends I have made on Hive are gradually competing favorably with those I have off the chain. The like-mindedness of Hive brings us together to discuss various topics that range from economy, politics, geography, passion, and approach.
Hive went beyond the chain to create an avenue of discord to rub minds together where real-life experiences can be shared and the bond of friendship can be fostered more. I have enjoyed hangouts, tasks, etc. through the extensions on Discord.
Beyond just networking, Hive makes it possible for me to earn as much as I learn. There is a high chance that your engagement with other authors as you post your quality contents will attract some earnings that other social media platforms rarely offer.
Hive tokens earned are forms of investment and savings. Hive helps to meet daily needs through earnings from posts and engagements.
Hive has been a supporter of good projects, as I have seen philanthropists give towards credible projects that would affect the lives of people positively.
Hive has taught me to be diplomatic and respectful, learning to interact with other authors in a respectable manner even when there is conflict in perceptions or lines of thought.
Hive happens to simplify cryptocurrency for its users. We get to read and learn from traders and investors in crypto, and these lessons are simple enough to understand.
Most importantly, Hive is an abode for me to explore and express my thoughts in writing. Not many of us have friends we can speak with physically, but by throwing these words into the chain, we are likely to have co-authors who would visit and share their thoughts concerning that which is discussed.
Hive is all-encompassing, and I will choose it over other social media without blinking an eye.
