‎Hey pals ...I have something that sounds new but more like an update from my heart to you all for you, you may not like. President Tinubu is not likely to announce your name in the next cabinet reshuffle.

‎Why?

‎What effort did you make for your name to end up there?

‎One of the most liberating realizations in life is understanding that your going forward is largely in your own hands.
‎Yes, people can help you.
‎Yes, doors can be opened for you.
‎Yes, favour is real.

‎But nobody can permanently carry a person who refuses to carry himself.

‎Too many people are sitting by the roadside of destiny waiting for somebody to announce their arrival.
‎Your name won’t make the list like that.
‎Things won’t happen from the blues.

‎Life does not work that way.

‎There will never be a public declaration that says:

‎Ladies and gentlemen, it is now your turn to succeed.
‎That announcement is yours to make.
‎And you make it through action.

‎Through competence.
‎Through courage.
‎Through persistence.
‎Many opportunities people celebrate today were not originally designed for them.

‎The preferred candidates were unavailable, unsuitable, unprepared, or simply did not fit.
‎The opportunity then went to the person who was ready.

‎Never forget this:

‎Many doors open not because you were expected, but because you were prepared.Stop waiting for permission to become who you can be.
‎The world rarely crowns people before they prove themselves.

‎You must step forward first.
‎You must volunteer first.
‎You must apply first.
‎You must speak first.
‎You must attempt first.

‎The tragedy is that many talented people spend years waiting to be discovered.
‎Meanwhile, less talented but more confident people keep moving ahead.

‎Confidence is not arrogance.

‎Confidence is believing that your contribution deserves a chance.
‎The world often tests your belief in yourself before it believes in you.

‎Understand this too:

‎Whenever you decide to rise, there will be resistance.
‎People will question you. Some will doubt you.
‎Some will remind you of your past.
‎Some will tell you why it cannot be done.
‎Persist anyway.

‎Because every meaningful advancement first appears unreasonable to those who have accepted mediocrity.
‎And here is something most people never realize:

‎As scared as you are of being rejected, many decision-makers are equally afraid of rejecting someone who might turn out to be exceptional.

‎Many people in positions of authority do not know everything.

‎They are making judgments with limited information.
‎They are taking risks too. That interview panel. That investor. That employer. That audience. They are evaluating you.

‎But they are also hoping they are not making the wrong decision.
‎Which is why you must show up boldly.

‎The opportunity is often more nervous than the person pursuing it.
‎Do not shrink.Do not hide.
‎Do not wait endlessly for validation.
‎Your future will not be handed to you.
‎It will respond to your courage.

‎Don't forget to Speak up. Step forward.vApply. Build. Create. And most importantly,Try again.

‎Because sometimes the only thing standing between an ordinary life and an extraordinary one is the decision to stop waiting and start moving.

‎Your opportunity may not announce your name. You may have to announce yourself.
