Hi pals... we're still on seers catalog. This is me saying that many seer prophets are not carrying the wound anymore. They are carrying the story they built around the wound. And the story is often harder to heal than the wound itself.

A leader overlooked you. A friend betrayed you. A church rejected you. A prophetic word did not unfold the way you expected. The event was painful. But then something else happened. Your mind started creating explanations.
People always reject me. Nobody understands seers. Every leader is threatened by prophetic people. If I share what the Lord shows me, I will be attacked again.
And over time the story became stronger than the original event.
Now every new situation is filtered through an old conclusion. A genuine correction feels like rejection. A delayed opportunity feels like opposition. A disagreement feels like betrayal. Not because those things are actually happening, but because the story has already decided what everything means.

This is one reason the Lord takes seer prophets through wilderness seasons. The wilderness does not only expose wounds. It exposes narratives. It reveals the conclusions you formed while trying to survive painful seasons. And many of those conclusions feel true because they were built around real experiences. Yet a conclusion can be understandable and still be wrong.
We see this in Elijah. After Jezebel threatened him he fled into the wilderness and cried out: "I alone am left." It felt true. It sounded true. But it was not true. The Lord revealed that thousands had not bowed to Baal. Elijah's pain had become a story. And the story was distorting reality.
Seer prophet, hear this carefully. Not every conclusion you reached in a painful season came from the Lord. Some conclusions were built by fear, some by disappointment, some by isolation, some by misunderstanding. And part of prophetic formation is allowing the Lord to challenge the stories you created while trying to make sense of your pain.
Because you cannot see clearly today through conclusions that were formed in yesterday's wounds.
Mature prophetic sight requires more than seeing what others miss. It requires allowing the Lord to confront the stories that have been quietly interpreting your life.
you're reading from your handsome friend John Petra!
