The International Astronomical Union gives names to everything that is in the universe, planets, stars, craters, mountains, volcanoes, moons, asteroids, except comets, all the other names of the cosmos go through the International Astronomical Union, but not comets, if you discover one you can give it your name, normally the name of the discoverer is given, but you can name the name of your girlfriend or boyfriend or a friend or your dog and that is still a right that the discoverer, the rest do not, the rest must go through the filter of the International Astronomical Union and they are very strict.
