Foreigners first became interested in US elections and politics when Barack Obama ran for and won the presidency. Of course, he was the first black man to attempt it. This time around, many people are interested in the US elections, particularly because of cryptocurrency.
This may seem vague, but if you do not know that cryptocurrency adoption is increasing by the day, you must be living under a rock.
People were not as interested in cryptocurrency when Joe Biden became president four years ago, but now, regular Joes are being introduced to it, and these people are eager to learn what the future leaders of America have planned for cryptocurrency.
Appealing To Crypto GEN-Zs
Of course, Trump is jumping on the bandwagon, and he is playing the tune that the crypto GEN-Zs want to hear. In fact, by stating that he will fire Gary Gensler, he has already gained the attention of many. Of course, everyone in crypto is aware that Gensler made the bear market a hellish period, and he is currently selling the perfect dream to every crypto electorate in the United States.
If you ask me, I believe this was an excellently written speech. I am not sure if he wrote the speech himself. If it was not him, whoever wrote it did a good job. It is difficult to truly understand cryptocurrency in a short period of time. I understand that politicians try to embody their speech by making it emotional, powerful, and convincing. However, I think Trump wouldn't have managed to nail that speech by himself.
People are excited about this speech, and I suppose they have a right to be. It's not an easy feat to actually have a president that's pro-crypto. Nayib Bukele of Salvador is the only pro-crypto President I have seen, and there have not been any others.
Re-routing the SEC in the United States requires significant remodeling, which may be a lot of work for Trump if elected, but I am guessing he is thinking, "When we get to that bridge, we will cross it." People praise any prospect of acceptance, as I have previously stated. I actually don't know the number of the electorate in the US who are actually pro-crypto.
There Are Many US Electorates On X
I see a lot of them, but we all know that elections are not conducted on Twitter. There are many powerful and wealthy electorates in the United States who are anti-crypto, and hearing Trump speak about firing Gensler may not be pleased, so it remains to be seen whether his (Trump's) latest campaign using cryptocurrency will endear him to many more.
On the plus side, it is exactly the kind of hype that cryptocurrency requires.
I am not sure how it will feel to fire Gensler; who knows what FUD the next guy is capable of unleashing. Nonetheless, I suppose we do not need Trump to be completely pro-crypto; all we need is for him to wave the white flag and welcome crypto innovations, rather than stifle them with ridiculous laws and bylaws.
So, even if he does not really follow through and all of the promises he makes should be fulfilled, people can be confident that he will not do poorly in crypto, and he may even surprise people.
I have not heard anything from Kamala about whether she will contest or not. I have heard she is starting a campaign to allow her to participate as well, so I believe she is planning something big to disrupt Trump's merry campaign to rule America again.
BTC needs this hype. Why?
We are on the verge of a bull run, and BTC, as always, needs to gyrate with the altcoins to move. Again, it is a big win for crypto at large. If Trump manages to pull through, it will be a very good thing.
