It is the end of another splinterlands season, in which I received approximately 38.9k glints. Multiply this by 2 to get approximately 77k actual glint rewards at the end of the season. I can not remember now, but I believe I earned roughly the same number of glint as I did last season, but the difference is that my SPS reward from two seasons ago is higher than that of last season.

The glints rewards are primarily based on how well I perform, and they occasionally include metrics that help me determine how well I performed. The decrease in SPS reward is concerning, though. Perhaps it is because I played in Diamond 3 and 2 throughout the season, I am not sure, but the SPS rewards are not encouraging.

I do not want to do the math to determine whether it is worth purchasing a wild pass to compete. I am basically trying to put the SPL assets I have to good use because I believe it will be better than renting them out. I also enjoy playing Splinterlands and competing in the Guilds. So, basically, I believe the cards I have are better off with me playing them.

My goal was 40k glints rewards and approximately 12 SPS average earnings per day; however, I did not meet this goal, and thus I consider the season a flop. Aside from real players, I believe modern players are also competing in Wild, as I mostly play max level cards and summoners at the start and end of the season. I am talking about the Diamond League, and it is been difficult to advance to the Champions League.

So I prioritized buying rate draws and common draws because it'll be easier to upgrade them. I didn't buy any legendary draws because I didn't want to gamble and get a card I already have. 25k is already over 40% of my total reward for the season. Although I didn't get anything spectacular, I just got enough to upgrade some of my common and rare cards, with some of my summoners already in level 7 and 8.

SPS is at its lowest.

In fact, it was the lowest I would seen since I began accumulating in 2021, and it was not even as bad as when the bear market was fully underway in 2022. It mostly demonstrates that the game is experiencing one of its worst periods since its inception, which is unfortunate.

Everyone wants the game to see some remission and recovery, and hopefully the team can secure funding and get back on track to correcting some of their mistakes.

So I heard that a new set of soulbound cards is coming to the game. This makes sense and is good to know. Unfortunately, I am missing a few cards from the current set of soulbound cards. They are about three, with the USUT being the most important.

The most recent reward system, which requires people to hustle for glints, has not been beneficial to me, and I have lost potential rewards as a result of the new system. However, this is what it is. The changes to Splinterlands have resulted in a significant loss of players, and I hope they realize this as soon as possible.

If the game cannot begin to attract players with positive changes prior to the bull run, it may be difficult for preexisting and loyal players to see their faith rewarded at the peak of the bull run. If these positive changes do not occur, even the $500k in prospective funding may not be sufficient to save the game.

Overall, it is Hive's largest flagship project, and we will continue to be sentimental about it and support it regardless. I do not want to subscribe to the notion that because it is a private business, it should operate independently; I believe it still brings its own hype and value.
