OVERCOMING THE CHALLENGES OF LIFE

Hello everyone, I’m excited to read and also learn from other people’s write-ups. I want to share my thoughts with you on what I caption: ‘’overcoming the challenges of life’’.
What are the challenges? Challenges otherwise known as obstacles, are those things that could stop or detain someone from attaining his or her goal on earth. There’s nothing like small or big challenges, all challenges are equal. In this 21st century, a lot of people pray against challenges, they see it as a phenomenon that cannot be battled with, while some people also pray for challenges to come their way.
Unfortunately, people don’t know how important challenges could be. I see challenges as a good thing for so many reasons.

Reasons Challenges are Important

First, it makes one realize how capable and knowledgeable he or she is in handling personal affairs. It takes someone who has gone through so many challenges in life to handle issues that concern him and that of another person. Someone inexperienced cannot handle certain matters, but it takes a man who challenges and has taught a lesson to do so.

Second, it helps individuals to learn from their mistakes and look for a way to erase their bad records. Without challenges, one would not know if he or she is doing well physically, spiritually, economically, educationally, and otherwise. All these areas of specialization I’ve listened to below have different challenges they give to those who specialize in them.

Take for instance someone who buries his brother or her sister every year, he or she would be forced to know God. He or she would try to find out what causes premature death in his or her family, as well as how he or she could stop that from occurring with the help of God.
It might be his or her mistakes that lead to the death of innocent souls, so if he or she can bring a solution to his or her family problem, that simply means he or she has overcome challenges.

Third, it equips young adults against the task ahead of them. It’s quite obvious that young adults tend to be weaker than their parents in terms of leadership. They feel they cannot do it. Those people we have today as our presidents, governors, commissioners, and many others too numerous to mention were challenged that’s why they took it upon themselves to break free from it. Had they been told that they would one day represent their people in government they wouldn’t have believed.

Before someone who didn’t plan to hold any political office decides within himself or herself to participate in one political affair or another, he or she must have been challenged by either his or her peers or by the current situation that encamps his or her community. At first, they would feel they can’t do it because no one would support them, but it’s always a surprise that such persons always achieve their purpose because the zeal is there.
One who is not zealous can never overcome challenges, breaking free from setbacks as well as breaking protocols in your family, community, education, marriage, and otherwise shows that you’ve triumphed over challenges.

Fourth, challenges teach a man how to agree and disagree with certain things. The spirit of agreement and disagreement is from God. One tool used for disagreement is anger. At times it’s very necessary to be angry to deal with some challenges in life.

One who doesn’t know how to be angry must learn to, because certain challenges don’t require prayer but just anger and a few words, and it is done. I’m saying this from experience. There’re sometimes challenges come to me, and sometimes it seems there’s no way out but once I’m angry and I make a declaration I always overcome those challenges that come to swallow me up.

In conclusion, I would like to tell you the challenges I faced while I was in school and how I overcame them. I grew up in a family where education was seen as the road that leads to one’s desired destination. My parents were always ready to make sure they produced a graduate in their family, and I was always happy about it. But I later discovered that each time I wanted to do something that required money, it would look as if all doors had been shut.

This went on for a very long time. I also discovered that each time I want to write my final exams and enter into a new class I must be sick or vomit blood while I’m in exams hall. My dad being a pastor was always embarrassed, and he saw that as a challenge, my dad was so annoyed in his spirit he took it upon himself to make an everlasting declaration, and here I am today. I want to encourage everyone reading this write-up to stand up, please stand up from your slumber, and fight the challenges of life, and you will overcome them.

Thank you
