Good evening lovelies; how are you doing today?
Happy Sunday to you all. I hereby welcome every one of you to my blog.
Today, I'm going to speak on the topic what makes you better than others. It's a very serious question which we must all answer for ourselves.
It requires honesty and judgment. But in this case, no one is permitted to judge you in any way; rather, you're the one to judge yourself.
Even the holy scriptures say that as Christians, we should judge not, that we are not judged. That can be found in the book of Matthew 7:1.
I have my reasons for deliberating on this topic. Something happened yesterday evening that made me shed tears.

Today, I'm going to speak on the topic of what makes you better than others. It's a very serious question which we must all answer for ourselves.
There's one girl who stays in the same
compound as me. Her name is Blessing. When I went to that compound newly, I thought the woman she stays with, was her biological mother, but after a while, I noticed she doesn't have a mother.
But what I noticed about her was that she's hard-working. She can do house chores from morning to night. Even when she feels tired, she doesn't relent in her effort to do what she knows is right.
But the most pathetic side of the story is that she doesn't go to any school, yet she can read and write. In my view, if they happen to give her a chance to experience what education looks like, she would perform excellently without a doubt.
So what happened yesterday was that her aunt's children have been going to school while she stays at home. But she doesn't complain.
So while she was still sleeping in her aunt's house yesterday, her aunt's children came back and asked her to get up and cook food for them to eat.
She told them that she was weak and that they should try and get something for themselves. They refused to do that.
So the eldest among her aunt's children said if she didn't do what they were asking her to do, she should go out and start looking for her dead mother.
She went ahead to tell her that, she and her sisters are better than her because they have parents who are taking proper care of them, but she doesn't have any.
She told her she couldn't afford five hundred naira perfume to spray on her dresses. She ended her speech by pushing her away, and she also told her that she was stinking.
When I heard her say that, I rebuked her for saying that, but she continued saying it.
I could feel the pain in her eyes. She wept uncontrollably. I walked down to where she sat, and I began to console her.
I told her not to mind what her aunt's children were saying and that no matter what she was going through presently, she would still become who God had destined her to be.
Immediately after I said that she began to wipe away her tears. She was so happy. I told her not to worry and that soon, she would be in school.
In conclusion, no one on this planet is better than the other. We're equal before God and man. Being at the top today doesn't mean you will remain at the top forever.
Our brethren in sciences always states Newton's law of motion thus: what goes up must surely come down.
It's your time to excel so keep on excelling and stop being the reason for people's sadness. Today is your turn; tomorrow might be his or her turn. Please let's be guided.
Thank you for visiting my blog.
I remain your favorite girl @joyben.
