Hello everyone. I couldn't believe how fast January disappeared. I was hoping for some snow and really cold weather, but only for a few days to enjoy. Then return to normal so I can go about my activities. Unfortunately, we weren't rewarded with any. So, I'm going to reward myself with a much needed boost toward my goals. Then, I'll look forward to February's Valentine's Day...and some low-calorie sweet Caramel Clusters for indulgence. Perfect for my Type 2 Diabetes.
2024 HIVE POWER GOAL: 25,000.000
For my 2024 goals, I declared 25K HP and 500 HBD. That's aggressive I feel, but I'm confident I can accomplish both before year end. My participation in the Saturday Savers Club hosted by @shanibeer has helped guide me in diligent and purposeful savings goals.
The saying that you reward yourself first is true. Each month, I tuck away a small amount offline for an emergency fund. Online, I power up my earnings in content rewards, interest on my HBD Savings, and liquid rewards from delegations and participation in Community projects.
When powering up each month, I always hold back a small portion for investments or other requirements. You never know when an emergency may arise offline that may require a withdrawal, especially to assist family.
Some of the projects I invest in on the blockchain are Community based that yield daily, weekly, or monthly liquid Hive as dividends and/or tokens. For example:
- delegated hive power and tokens to Communities;
- leased Hive power to members;
- participated in @combination weekly drawings for the charity it manages, @papilloncharity.
- delegated hive power and LEO tokens to InLeo
- delegated to various curation accounts; and
- added to my liquidity pool positions.
For February Hive PUD, I'm powering up 134.057 Hive today.
