Another milestone reached, another step closer to the next.
I am very proud to announce that I have reached 50 million views on Pexels!
Pexels is one of the free-to-use images libraries online, where I had selected to put some of my images. User friendliness. some tips that I had received, as well as some really nice content creators using my Cretan spots were the reasons why I kept maintaining my account and uploading images.
I think that it is about 5 years now since I started seeing this more seriously. After the AI-generated images I have not received any tips, but I do get my photos downloaded often and even though I do not upload new content, there is still an increase to my views there.
Users from around the world have used images or videos for their videos, blogs etc. I had even found a photo of mine at one local online newspaper.
In total I have approximately 488K downloads, my total uploaded images are 1000 and my most popular content is this wave..
So, what is next?
AI is moving forward so quickly, that we already can create almost anything that we can imagine. Also, any images we may put online, especially the ones that will have no commercial rights, could potentially be used to train AI models so that they can make better, more appealing, perhaps even -perfect- photos.

I have never thought of stopping my hobby, on the contrary, I try to improve my knowledge and skills.
When I look at some older photos, I keep finding flaws.
I hope I can make better ones in the future, but I am proud of the process that brought me at this point.
If I may give an advice to you, it is to do things that you love and try to get better, always depending on your needs and goals for the future.
It is always important to look ahead and to keep going forward.
If I may add something here, hive blockchain and the community has been an amazing motivation for me to keep moving.
