I have some hive news to share!
HivePosh expands its rewards to posts shared on BlueSky social.

POSH stands for Proof of Sharing and it is a project that aims to reward hive users who share any hive link to web2 accounts such as X or reddit. You can check this link for more information and you can also connect your X and reddit account if you want. https://join.hiveposh.com/

About BlueSky:
Bluesky is calling itself a decentralized social media platform that was initially incubated by Twitter but later became independent. It was founded with the goal of creating a more open and user-controlled social networking experience using the AT Protocol (Authenticated Transfer Protocol), which allows for greater interoperability, user data ownership, and customization.
When it first operated, it was invite only and I had created an account (even though I did not use it so much). As of February 6, 2024, Bluesky is no longer invite-only, meaning anyone can sign up without needing an invite code.
This move is expected to accelerate user growth and make the platform more accessible to a wider audience.
About its growth, I have asked ChatGPT and this is what it responded:
- February 2023: Launched as an invite-only beta.
- September 2023: Reached 1 million users.
- February 2024: Opened to the public, removing the invite-only restriction.
- May 2024: User base grew to 5.5 million.
- November 2024: Surpassed 20 million users.
- December 2024: Expanded to 25 million users.
- January 2025: User count reached 30 million.
My View
I reset my password today, because I had not used it since 2023.
The password reset was very easy and prompt.
It is easy to use, reminds you of X and you can use its mobile app or through a browser (https://bsky.app/)
I saw that there are feeds that you can choose to follow..
It maybe deserve to be searched a little more, perhaps we can create a #hive feed;
Feeds are custom algorithms that users build with a little coding expertise. See this guide for more information.
I cannot say that I enjoyed the content so much, I mostly saw irrelevant content or users blaming Trump and Elon (I imagine because they do not want to do that on X) - but on the positive side..
I already found some hivers! @curamax @x-rain and others :)
Lets get into more details about how this info is useful to any of you.
If you share a hive post on BlueSky, a Bluesky Posh post will be generated with a preview (when using peakd) of the post shared
At this time, the rewards of the post are given to the post author, but there will be future developments when they will be shared with the person sharing the post.
Future Work
Add Bluesky/Hive account linking to hiveposh.com - this will enable rewards splitting and gamification, Posh token rewards distribution for the Bluesky sharing leaderboard.
Add more platforms to Posh. Nostr is top of the list
