Today I decided to write about @gifutoken
I received some private questions from users and noticed that while there’s genuine interest in this project, some may feel hesitant.
Before I continue, I want to remind you to always do your own research (DYOR) when considering an investment in any project. I will do my best to remain objective about this project. While I know and trust the founders, I will focus on sharing only the facts here.
What is $GIFU token?
Gifu Token ($GIFU) is a meme token built on the Binance Smart Chain. The project aims to revolutionize the way GIFs are created, traded, and customized.
From their website:
$GIFU is a deflationary utility token on the Binance Smart Chain that supports Giphy artists and their work.
If you wonder WHY...
Gifu was created with the aim to reward gif creators, who have not received any reward for their contribution to the existing gif platforms.

Tokenomics
The token has 1 billion supply and a 5% buy/sell tax, which is used to create a treasury that earns a 20% APR. This treasury will eventually fund the development of a custom-built platform for GIF creation and trading.
The burning of tokens is creating scarcity, with the potential to increase the token's value over time.
Roadmap
The project is very new, it has started in July 2024 and we will probably have a first sample of the platform in early 2025.
