I have been working since I was 18 years old and I have been in several jobs until now. Not too many, because I am always picking my job carefully and also try to hold on as long as I feel valued and respected. (money used to not make a difference for me, as long as I have enjoyed working*)
So, as you may know, I live on an island that welcomes many tourists every year. Naturally, tourism is a main industry here, so this is what most people who live here do.
I have done some short-term jobs during the time I was traveling, from 18-19 years (radio producer, waiter) - but when I returned home - I got immediately in tourism. This was actually good, because it taught me a looot of things. (many of which I recognize now, after all those years)
Having worked in service, in guest relations, in the reception, in the f & b, has taught me great skills and how important patience but also adaptability is in any job. I was the kind of person who would never say this is not possible, but instead I would always be a solution finder in almost anything. From guest complaints to digital needs. (And remember, this was before digital was a thing)
As the years went by, I decided to make a small shift to my career, to focus on the digital transformation that had begun because all that excited me... After a while came blockchain for me!!
I have written too much, so to keep it short I am now between two jobs that are very different with each other and I always struggle to respond to the query.
- What do you do
After thinking it over, I decided to check with GPT, after all .. it is supposed to save us time and to help us out, right;
After my questions, this is what it responded...

It did trigger me a bit the fact that it was remembering some of the things that I ask it about, but I have not asked it to forget my questions. After all, it helps better respond to my queries.
I did discuss with GPT a little longer, I found a nice title Digital Coordinator in Hospitality & Education but it does not sound good in Greek when you translate it. I think that I still need to work on it so that it can make more sense, especially when I am asked in Greek.

Growing up, I understand that money or should I say compensation for what we do should be important, because we give up our valuable self and time for someone elses business. So, this should be a very important factor when choosing a job, because we should be happy for what we get and we should learn how to assess our work so that we are not taken advantage of.
