This weekly prompt reminded me of some past memories during December period.

December:this is a period we do many things,is a time of merriment and so many other things like visiting of friends, people that we have not seen a long period of time in our various villages or any place we do go for the December/ Christmas vacation.
DECEMBER VACATION
Though many people travel to different place during December period depending on the decision of the family on where to go for their own vacation.
Some use to travel abroad while some to their different villages depending on the family plan and agreement.
Sometimes it does not work as planned because in most cases the children maybe planning to travel to the village but the parents might have a different plan to travel to a other places and this will bring about the children not longing to travel again.
December vacation is a period i and my family us to travel to the village to stay for some time but before we travel we use to plan it .it is mostly my dad that use to give the decision of where to travel to because left for me i enjoy traveling to my maternal home for December vacation but dad will just change the plan for all of us to go to the village and we have no choice than to do that and follow his own decision because he is the man of the house .
Is true that initially i don't like the idea of we traveling to the village but i also use to enjoy it .
Traveling to the village for December vacation is really enjoyable because during December period my village normally have many things to entertain people.
Things like
Masquerade dance
Football competition (we call it umuacha unity cup december League).
I am a type that does not stay at a place for long this is to say that i am not an indoor type.
So during this vacation I normally use it to visit my far back friends that i have not seen for long.
What gives me joy mostly about the vacation is the umuacha unity cup december League because i am one of the top players of the competition
This is why any time it reaches december period if dad decide that we will travel to the village the only thing that gives me joy is the football competition because my team mates always want me to be around during the football matches.
I also derive a lot of joy playing with them.
As december is approaching near the have even started calling me that our match has been drawn and we have match on 15th of december and i can't wait to travel back home to play with them.
It really use to me enjoyable staying with them, anytime i am with them i use to feel at home.
The memories of december vacation is always a good one , meanwhile i can't wait for december to come so i can see my old time friends and my team members.
